Incredible ! Work perfect for my recently hip surgery come and out of my car alone without any help ! Great idea!

Super sturdy! Thought it would be flimsy but NO WAY! It is really strong & solid! Its just heavy & sharp enough to use like a hammer to break glass if in a crisis but also light and dull enough to be safe for even klutzy people like me! The rubber grip is well coated on handle to keep from moving, sliding or slipping around like some of the brands! I only bought 1 to see if I liked it but am going to buy another for the other side of our truck! This could also be used for kids & to keep doors from slamming on hands; would help the kids be independent too! Wish I had this for when my mum was alive & my kiddos were young! Great Birthday, Holiday or Get Well gift idea!!

Does lock In place as stated on info sheet in box. I tried this on THREE different cars. Same result. Twists left and right in car lock latch. So be aware and push the the tool outward.

This is very useful and I recommend anyone with mobility issues to buy it.

Purchased for someone going through physical therapy after a hospitalization and it did a ton of the help in assisting them in and out of the vehicle! I only wish the handle was in a neon color- we sometimes forgot it was there before closing the door or lost it in the side panel storage. These should be in every car kit though! Will definitely come in handy in the future. Happy to know this helps my vehicle be a little more accessible for loved ones with mobility concerns.

I saw a set of two of these advertised elsewhere for $25 and almost ordered it, but I don't need 2. I checked Amazon and they had many choices all in that general price range, but then I found this one for a fraction of the price. I only need it for a short while as I recuperate from abdominal surgery so didn't want to spend a lot of money. This unit works just fine! It's sturdy and has been a huge help to me while I heal and can't use my ab strength to get in and out of the car. I would say to others, save your $ and just get this one. It's just as good!

Bought this for my elderly father in law after he broke his hip. We tried it for the first time and heard creaking from this part. We stopped using it since we were paranoid it would break on him.
