Simple to use, reliable and well supported with full access to your data.
I have settled on these as room monitors for my old and somewhat damp house. These units are cost effective, and I have expanded my use of them having seen my first purchases operate for over a year without issues (exc batteries of course) The features that make these great for the job fit into 2 areas. Ease of installation and use, the units are trivial to set up, connected easily to wifi and take standard batteries. Setting them up in the app is also simple and the UI allows great visibility of Temperature and relative humidity as well as exposing the dew point of the air (and VPD if you want it). All 4 of these can be threshold alerted and additionally its easy to compare a number of sensors to see patterns. The killer feature for me however is not obvious in advance. I'm working on a long term project to reduce dampness in an old house, Govee will bundle up all your sensor data, in granular detail and send it to you once a month automatically. This guarantees long term retention of the records of progress. Other platforms have made this sort of action near to impossible.

Mighty Midgets
I bought these to monitor temperature and humidity in an old, cold flat; prone to dampness. On opening the box, I was surprised to see how small the sensors are. After a seamless setup and an accuracy test with previously tested devices, I decided I would check how long the AAA cells (provided) would last. That was on the 5th of January (four months ago, approx.) and the battery symbol is showing three out of four bars remaining, it looks like they could last a year. These perform really well letting you know where more heat or ventilation is required; a great purchase. UPDATE; One of the sensor notified my phone that the battery was running low so maybe not a year but even seven months can't be bad. The others still have the original batteries.

Once Upon a Thermodynamic Time: A Bedtime Story of Five Little Sensors and the Evil Walled Garden
Once upon a time, in a well-insulated flat high above the warm tarmac of London, a tired but clever man named Karl faced a serious problem caused by intense heat. He wanted to fight like a knight. The Knight’s armour was heavy, his calorie-burning target was long doubled, and his flat was trapped in a radiant spell of 31°C ceilings. He knew that to defeat the beast and earn the legendary prize of a PortaSplit Authorisation from the High Housing Lords, he would need the ultimate weapon: empirical, unassailable data. So, he summoned the Guardians of Govee. First came the Two Bluetooth Knights. They were simple, proud creatures, each equipped with an LCD display showing real-time temperature and humidity readings. They stood watch over the desks and bed, easily visible, but only transmitted data locally—limited to the range of Bluetooth. Then, a glorious upgrade arrived: Three Wireless Wizards, each offering remote temperature and humidity monitoring, accompanied by the magical Wi-Fi Bridge that allowed real-time updates from anywhere via the Govee app. When all five guardians united under the banner of the Wi-Fi Hub, a wondrous miracle occurred. Every sensor streamed data seamlessly to cloud storage with the 2-Year Scroll of Cloud Data Logging—meaning Karl could review all historical temperature and humidity readings from any device, anytime. The Wizards even bestowed upon Karl 430 mythical Reward Points—a bonus for engaging with the product ecosystem, unlockable after earning 500 points. The Knight’s kingdom was growing. He looked out onto his sheltered balcony, past the DIY silver-foil baffles and the parasol shield, and dreamed of a new ally: a rugged Greenhouse Thermometer sentry to watch the outdoor front gardens and catch the cool 21°C evening air. But every story has a problem. Towering over the kingdom were the cruel, high brick walls of the Smart Home Walled Gardens. The Govee Wizards could scream that the living room had breached 29.5°C, but a wicked spell of proprietary code kept the kingdom’s mechanical beasts—the mighty AC units and the multi-functional Tower Fans—completely deaf. Because of these corporate walls, the sensors could not automatically command the fans to dance or the vents to open via third- party smart integrations. The Knight was forced to orchestrate the kinetic fan chain using his own human hands. But creative solutions can get around software restrictions. As night approached, Karl opened the balcony, turned on the tower fans at Mode 4, and improved the air circulation. The living room temperature dropped by nearly 3°C. The challenge of cooling the bedroom would continue tomorrow. For now, the flat was cooling, the smart meter showed £2.10, and Karl felt no discomfort. He went to sleep, knowing the five sensors were quietly tracking data through the night. Pros: Elegant 2-year data logging via a Wi-Fi bridge; highly accurate macro tracking; fun point reward system. Cons: Frustrating ecosystem walled gardens prevent direct, cross-brand automation of cooling assets.

Leave It and Forget It – Reliable Remote Humidity Monitoring and Alerts
I’ve had an exceptionally reassuring experience using the GoveeLife WiFi Room Thermometer Hygrometer (3-Pack). I originally bought them while dealing with a leak in a rental property. A ceiling mounted flush shower head had allowed water to penetrate the plasterboard, and a surveyor measured the ceiling void at around 90% relative humidity which clearly had the potential to create an environment for mould growth. After fixing the leak, I inserted one of the sensors into the ceiling void through a spotlight hole so I could monitor how the area dried over time. Being able to track the humidity remotely through the app gave me huge peace of mind. I could see the relative humidity gradually falling as the structure dried out, which helped confirm that the space was no longer at risk of sustaining mould. I’m happy to say the humidity there now stands at below 44% which is very reassuring and means I can confidently proceed with replacing the damaged gypsum plasterboard. The other two sensors are mounted on internal walls in the shower room and bathroom, simply hung on Command hooks. From my phone I can monitor the conditions at the property whether I’m at home or elsewhere, which is incredibly convenient. The app is foolproof and very easy to use and it sends alerts whenever relative humidity exceeds the levels I’ve set. The ability to keep an eye on moisture levels remotely has made these sensors far more useful than I expected. For landlords or homeowners dealing with leaks, damp concerns, or monitoring bathrooms and hidden spaces, these sensors provide real peace of mind. I would highly recommend them.

Sensing greatness
Love these, one in each bedroom and google tells me the temp of each room when asked. Connects easy and durable. Functions as they should and does what it says on the tin. Shame I can’t find the link to buy extra sensors without the plug.

Great System
Easy to install and provides full current and historical data of temperature and humidity at each sensor. This data is accessible locally on Bluetooth and over Wi-Fi from any location. There is a good range from the Wi-Fi hub to each sensor. It is highly recommended to remotely monitor temperature and humidity.

Great product but misleading description
It says ‘pack of 3 sensors, can be paired with up to 10 sensors’. However I couldn’t find extra sensors to buy so contacted Govee, the tell me they are not available for sale in the UK. So promoting them as being able to support 10 sensors is in my opinion an mis-sell (in the UK). A great shame as the 3 work great. It seems the only way around this is to buy the whole setup again and throw the base station in the bin and pair the 3 sensors with your original base station. A waste of money and device. Post review update. I thought I would beat the system by buying extra units from Amazon US. Cost £6 extra shipping, arrived in 5 days and connected perfectly. Great solution

Excellent product and great customer service
We have a holiday letting and thus allows us to monitor temps/set alerts eg too hot/too cold, and adjust our systems accordingly. The stats are far more accurate than the electric rads we have. I had a small issue with one of the sensors but customer service were incredibly helpful and rapid in their response. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend
