So easy to use! I used them to secure a mini greenhouse to the ground with stakes. It’s much easier than tying knots because, well, I don’t know how to tie a secure knot to keep things from blowing away. These were an easy solution. They did not comeWith instructions but theyre easy to figure out. At one point I needed to reposition my greenhouse and I really appreciated how I could just unclip it, reposition, and reclip without having to untie and retie knots.After being delighted by how easy they were to use, I was thinking of also using these to make some clotheslines that you can put up and take down quickly when you need them. You could just unclip and roll them up out of the way until next time!I would only use them for light work though because the ratchet/caribinger part doesn’t feel super sturdy, but for my light weight purposes, these were perfect. I would definitely buy again!

had one of these for along time. Used to stabilize my bike in the in pickup. Used for a long time to secure loads. lost tract of it for awhile and found it in the muck and cleaned up and rope and ratchet still worked fine. 1 wanted the 1/4in line to be used on my pergola to secure a 10/8 retractable tarp used as a wall. Wind is an issue here and know these will do well. Once I set this up and it works I will send pics of it. while plastic on the outside inside is metal.

I always tie down the bow of my kayak when transporting on my car. Otherwise the wind would lift it like a wing, putting stress on the straps and rack.I had been using a rachet set similar to this but it had open hooks which occasionally came off if the line had slack. These have closed attachments that cannot come loose. Also, the rachet is much better built. There is more than enough line.They should be advertised as kayak tie-downs, as well as the other uses.

I like em. Still wish I didn't have to climb up in order to be able to lower and water my hanging plants but I'm pleased overall.

Definitely liking these things so far. Low cost for a 12pk. They came quick. Very simple to use and don’t seem like they’re cheap material. Ratchets work as advertised on all 12… I dig it.

Absolutely perfect for my intended use!Solid, seem well built and operate flawlessly. Instead of storing my very heavy 48 inch front of house pre lit Christmas wreath, I came up with an idea for utilizing it in the summer. Now it is an amazing “chandelier “ in my gazebo. Needed a strong pulley system to lift and hold in place. I simply used four small black zip ties to attach the pulleys to the roof supports in the gazebo frame. Voila!Great item for such uses. Better than going to home dupo and piecing together yourself.

Perfect for securing a pet cage in the back of my SUV. Ended up cutting have the cord off as it was too long. Secured the cage perfectly.

These are just what my husband wanted to hold the "fly" over his tent. Easy to use and don't take up alot of space!
