Cut from the commercially sustainable Silver Birch tree which is a quick growing hardwood, kiln dried for a longer burn time. There are no chemicals just virgin Birch Wood. Easy to light with wax firelighter included. The design allows physics to take care of the rest. The fire burns from the inside out with minimal smoke and ash providing a clean burn.
