Works as advertised with the PanoFZ1000 (gen 1)
I am using this with the Panasonic FZ1000 (Gen 1) and it works as advertised. There is a small channel on the right side of the camera that’s covered with a rubber insert. Take out the insert for cable management coming out of the battery compartment. Yes, the cord is long. I think they designed it that way for versatility. Just do some simple cable management and you will be good to go. The battery life on the FZ1000 is not the greatest- especially in cold weather. This device is awesome for pretty much all the power you will need. You can plug in two power bricks and be set. What’s especially nice for cold weather videographers, is the cord is long enough so that you can put the power bricks in your jacket to keep them warm, place them in an insulated pouch with hand warmers, ect. Creativity knows no bounds. This is going to make life so much easier when I film hunts with the camera. I use an Arca Swiss plate. And the FZ1000 wasn’t thought through very much with the tripod screw hole being so close to the battery compartment flap. You need to remove the plate to change the battery. And, as mentioned before, the battery life isn’t the greatest. So, took care of all that.

Works perfectly for a Panasonic Lumix FZ300
The adapter fits exactly into the battery compartment and powers my FZ300 camera reliably using an old Coolook PB-2000 power bank. I need to use only one USB connection since the Coolook can deliver 2.4A from a single USB output port. I've run the camera to record about 90 min total of video (in about 15-20 min segments) in a single session, and the power bank lights still shows plenty of capacity remaining. I've not noticed any issues with DC-DC converter noise, heat, or instability. Seems like a solid product so far.

Works great with the GX8
This works great with the Panasonic GX8It powers the camera, and there appears to be no problems with compatibility.Combined with a massive battery from Anker, and I can run the camera for hours without worrying about power.I do wish they had integrated the DC/DC adapter into the battery housing, and made the second USB port an optional connection. The actual cord going into the battery housing could also use some strain relief.

Great for time lapses
This DC coupler works beautifully on my Lumix FZ300; I can just plug it into two lithium power banks or two separate 2 amp chargers and run the camera for 8-10 hours (or more on wall power). I like how the part that replaces the battery in the camera is detachable from the part that connects to the USB ports; makes for quick takedown and storage.

Not for Sigma FP
Got an expensive lesson in RTFM. As the sheet of paper that came with this clearly states, do not send more than 5V through it or you will fry your device. Now my camera is a brick.

Worked flawlessly
Had my first paid gig recording an event. Couldn't guarantee AC power on the premises, and plenty of what needed to be shot would be handheld. With this paired with a 20000mah battery, I was able to get hours of footage without even dipping the battery below 75%. This was while it was also simultaneously powering an audio recorder. A fantastic adapter for anyone who needs to keep this thing powered for extended periods of time without wall power.

Fits well in Pany G7, so much battery life!
I own a Panasonic G7 and this works great with it. I have an Anker 10,000mAh power brick and it powers the camera for hours. I've used it on video shoots and star trail time-lapses and works well for both. On the G7, if the batter dies while shooting video that file will be corrupted, so to have a massive power supply is one less thing to worry about.

Underpowered for some configurations
Convenient because it runs from 2 USB power ports. HOWEVER, when I attach a USB drive and long autofocus lens to the camera body, I find that this adapter will not provide sufficient power to the system.Using the name brand a/c adapter, I have no difficulty staying connected to USB drive. So I am sorry I spent the money on this third party product. If you don’t have my advanced requirements, this adapter might be all you need.
