This kit is a win. It’s easy to follow, keeps kids busy, and the finished string art looks way cooler than you’d expect. The box is small but don't let that throw you off- this is a great kit to keep your art-loving child entertained. Everything arrived as pictured in the box. Makes for a great gift. The designs are adorable and the tools provided were functional. But the best part is that it introduces kids to a new style of art. My friend's daughter said she loved her gift and had asked to go to the store and get new balloon styles/yarn/lights to make even more designs. Which is amazing because most of the supplies can be found at discount stores.

This kit kept the kids busy for a couple of hours and the finished project actually looked good. Comes with everything needed-pins, string, and boards. Some of the designs are easier than others, so it’s good for older kids or with a little adult help. Nice craft kit that feels like more than a one-time activity.

4 stars because it was a fun activity for my daughter. Lost a star because it does not hold it's shape. The glue is too runny, so maybe add less water than the directions say. She kept this up by her bed as a night light while it lasted. Maybe 4-5 months till I just threw it away. But for the activity I am happy with the price of the item. Though it did involve my assistance, not something my 8 year old could to on her own, and it was very messy.

These things are so much fun! A little messy but comes with something to cover your area and gloves! They’re so cool after letting dry overnight!

Great birthday gift

This was fun to do but it was a lot harder than it looks! The string kept slipping off of the top of the heart balloon in places I didn't want it to go and made it kind of uneven but once put together and finally dried it looks really pretty actually! It was too difficult for my 5 yr old granddaughter to do so I ended up doing it by myself which was somewhat difficult. She loved the end result though. The lights kinda came off of it after she was playing with it so that why they look like that. It was wrapped neatly around it until she got a hold of it. She hasn't broken it yet though and it's been about 6 months!

Was fun and easy to use . My daughter and I absolutely loved it and purchased more after the holidays

I bought this as a Christmas gift for our 9 year old granddaughter. The box has full, easy to follow instructions and everything you need to make the balloon light kit. I did the first one with my granddaughter we had great fun together doing it ... she blew the balloon up with the supplied straw and I helped to tie the end, then she soaked the ball of string in a bowl with the glue and water mixture; then she had great fun wrapping the string around the balloon ... we carefully hanged the wet stringed balloon up overnight to dry and sure enough the next day the string had set solid. We punctured the balloon to let the air out and carefully pulled the deflated balloon out. My granddaughter threaded the tiny lights inside and decorated the tassle at the bottom. This is a really sweet balloon light when it's finished and the tiny multi-coloured lights are delightful! There are 3 different balloon lights to make in total and for the money I think it is extremely good value - happy to recommend to anyone wanting a lovely gift for a young girl who likes crafting and pretty things!
