Bamboo Tofu Press with Set & Forget Feat, Built in Drainer & Drip Tray - Simple way to Remove Liquid from Tofu, Making Homemade Tofu, Cheese, Tempeh, Paneer

When my press arrived the drainage tray was broken (it was a returned item that I had purchased). I contacted the customer support and within a few days I received a replacement try- stronger than the original.So I give 5 stars to both the product and their customer service!

Using this tofu press I’ve now made wonderful tofu several times so far. Assembly is easy, clean up is easy and I love that it’s bamboo and not plastic. The video provided here on Amazon by the vendor helps understand the various ways you can use the press.The tofu shown in my pics was made using 170g of soybeans which yielded 8 cups of soy milk. The resulting tofu is around 1” in height. The press has a large inner diameter which is why the tofu cake is on the shorter side in height. No matter! It’s delicious and the texture is perfect. I’ve done medium firm and firm and both were great.It does not come with a cloth for wrapping around the curds. I use a flour sack towel which is a tight enough weave so curds don’t escape, yet open enough to drain well.Highly recommend! Shipping was fast and packaging was very good.

Overall a good tool, just doesn't have quality components. After two uses one of the wing nuts used to give pressure to the top plate bound up and got stuck. Have not had any luck getting it unstuck and will have the replace the bolt and nut if I am to use it again.Aside from breaking it works well, does the job and is relatively easy to clean. It can be annoying to put the tofu in as at least one side needs to be disassembled to get the top plate off and put the tofu on.

This is the only tofu press that comes with a mold set so it is a good deal. The video was a big help in the assembly and it also came with printed instructions. It only took about 15-20 minutes to squeeze water out of the tofu block. The bamboo is durable and I have used it several times with no issues in expanding, shrinking or cracking. The drip tray was deep enough to catch excess water of the tofu.

HORRIBLE PRODUCT, DIFFICULT TO USE, SMALL, AND TOO MANY SCREWS AND PARTS TO WANT TO WORK REGULARLY.DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!

It's cool all though my bottom tray came cracked, i didn't bother sending it back because that's how much i really liked it.

I got this to make my first batch of tofu and when I went to use it some of the hardware was missing. I contacted the company directly and they promptly sent a whole new set of hardware.I have made 3 batches of tofu with it and love it.It presses tofu from the store very well too.

It's pretty to look at, but I find this to be a bit bulky. Setting the tofu up on it feels like a harder task than it should be. If you won't be making cheeses or your own tofu the extra pieces really take up a lot of space. Not particularly easy to clean. Keep it oiled up well. It does a good job pressing tofu but if you're a lazy cook, it might get annoying. I've been going back to my two cutting boards with my blender balanced on top.
