I was looking for a new can opener that anybody in the house hold can use. This is a winner. It is really as simple as shown in their video. I even tried it on foreign cans that have a thicker rim and where about 5in in diameter. No problem, just let it run around twice.The things that I really love are:- no sharp edges- the top can be used as lid again, which comes in super handy if you don use up everything in the canOverall it seems to be can opener to go with.

I was excited when I made the purchase since I thought this would a great option. The first time I tried to use it, it did not want to open the can. After numerous tries, my husband was finally able to get the opener to work. The second time I tried to open a can, it did not work at all ~ my husband could not work his magic either. I returned it. Decided to purchase a regular electric can-opener.

I am used to the tower standing electric can openers but these new styles work very nice. I just had to get used to how they work but it is very simple to use. Also no sharp edges is a great thing.

Does its job fine. A little noisy

It took me a little bit to figure out how to use this opener as it did not appear to be working. It would attach to and rotate around the can top but did not appear to cut it open. When removing the opener the lid of the cans I tried remained in place as if the can did not cut the lid open. I finally discovered that I needed to lift the lid from the can manually as it was cutting around the outer edge of the can. Once I figured that out, I realized it was working as designed. I would buy it again.

It has been a long time since I found myself in need of a can opener but last month there I was!! The ring on a can of my dogs food had popped off and the only thing I could find was an old rusty hand propelled can opener! I could barely get it to move! After looking maniacally through my drawers for an electric solution, I hopped on Amazon and purchased this electric can opener. It seemed small enough to fit in my drawer and not take up too much space. I read the reviews. They were generally positive. I had low expectations. It arrived the following day! Much to my delight it was easy to handle, lightweight and opened even the most difficult of cans!!!

Bought in July for mom and she loved it (unable to use her left hand), she used it all the time. Took maybe a week to get used to how it operates, but she was a pro at opening. Then about two weeks ago (December) she couldn't disengage a can from the opener, it was stuck in the engage position. I had to remove batteries to make it stop, then had to forceably take it off the can. Tried to tinker with it, still stayed in engaged position. Eventually took to the internet to find any kind of help, to no avail.

This is my 3rd battery powered can opener, and the first of this brand. It takes less batteries than the other model, so it runs a little slower and noisier. However, it gets the job done with one trip around the can lid. There are no sharp points like I got with my previous brand. A satisfactory little opener.

So I just moved into a new apartment, and figure I’ll get an electric can opener to save me some trouble. I prefer battery operated to a power cable, and it does make it easier to maneuver. it's very lightweight. And surprisingly small for me, which is a good thing.I tried it on some different types of cans. It works GEAT ! It works on all cans, even the ones with a lift tab. The cans that have a lift tab can have very sharp edges after you manually take them off, but this electric can opener cuts with safer smooth edges.Ordering this again as a Christmas gift for my mother.

The only problem I have with this is it doesn't have the automatic stopper when the can is open, other than that it's great.

Really like the side cut approach. This new type electric can opener works a lot better than our old type opener that sits on the counter. It is much easier to maneuver and provides a very nice clean cut. Very hygienic too because it will not touch the food inside, and absolutely no metal sherd.Actually it is quiet funny using it. Sometime I just stand there and watch it do its job and wait for taking off the lid and marvel at how smooth the edge is.

-- Removes the lid but dose not leave behind sharp lid or sharp rim. No risk of cutting a finger.-- It's Automatic, No Holding Required. At first I was a little skeptical about the lightweight, as I thought it maybe a little bit heavywith batteries. But you DON'T hold this can opener. You just need to position to on top of lid sothe rim is between 2 blades and press the button.-- I have a big family which means I need to open several cans each time. I've been using this can opener to open tuna cans, mushroom cans, diced tomato can15oz. and it all worked well and it seems vert promising. Sometimes it needs an extra round to completely open the can, but that is no a big deal for me.

this opener indeed leave a very smooth and clean edge, and it is also very convenient!Worth it :)
