This gate is well made, a good weight, and sturdy. It was easy to install by myself and looks nice. I like that the gate can stay in the open position if I want it to. I can open the latch with one hand. The gate will swing to the other side if I open it wide and let it go. It is better to hold the gate while it shuts. The height is perfect to keep my 80 pound lab/Shepard mix out of the litter box. I used the pressure mount and was not able to push the gate over with significant force. So far my dog has not knocked it down. This gate is worth every penny!

Very sturdy and easy to install. We also got wall protectors to make sure it wouldn’t scratch the walls. The auto latch on the gate works very well and because the door is spring loaded, it closes and latches automatically. The cats used the gate door right away. Perfect for any household!

This gate is used to keep dogs from cats. It is sturdy and well made and a breeze to install. Well worth the cost.

Got this to keep my pups out of the a room without having to keep the door shut. It was easy to put on, the lock works great, the size is convenient as it’s adjustable, and it’s a solid material and weight. Would consider it safe as it’s not easy to knock over and again, the material is definitely sturdy.

So far I have purchased 4 of these gates. They may be pricier than others but so worth it. They have saved my sanity and have given our 2 cats access to the entire house while still containing our new puppy to the living room/dining room. I especially love the addional gate pieces to really customize sizing. They are heavy duty and withstood the continued jumping of our 55 lb. Lab retriever pup.

We installed this baby gate on my office door to keep the dogs out of the cat food. I was tripping when I would step over the expandable gate. This gate opens both ways, closes automatically, is built great, stable, & assembles easily. When you install the gate, you tighten it for the stability. We purchased the white one which matches our home decor. Perfect height and great value for the money. We did not need to screw anything in. We tightened both sides & leveled it for good stability. Since the cat resides in that office; the peekaboo gate at the bottom is perfect.

FIRST: DO NOT take off the zip tie that holds the gate together until installed!!! They mean it, this is a spring loaded pressure seated gate. If you cut it before installation, it will push open at the top of the gate and you will have to sit on it to re zip it and get it back to squared off position. This is a fabulous gate. I use gates to separate the dogs from the cats (laundry and stairs). I wish I had this when the kids were toddlers. I have spindle banister and for a long time could only find gates that had pressure pads. This has 2 Y shaped brackets (which can be stretched to be wider than original by pushing the inner part of the Y against a very hard counter or metal surface). The Y brackets are used for the rounded part of the banister and then the pressure pads to be used for the squared off bottom. It is relatively easy to install. The add on brackets for extra width are easy to add and there is a support brace to keep it rigid. Most impressive is the gate itself which, once installed, just falls shut hands-free. I can have my hands full and usually it will just swing back and latch. If it stays open, I can nudge it with a hip and it will fall shut and latch without my having to set anything down. The latch is a grip release so you will have to have one hand free to get open. One note, I have a fat cat so I did unscrew (in 2 places) the bracket for the cat door and pried/removed the plastic panel from the cat window. This gave him an extra 2 inches of width (hey, when you are a 20 lb cat and running from a German Shepherd, you want to fit!). My dog cannot fit through the cat opening so I figured best to leave it open. Solid contruction. The grey color blends well.

This baby gate is AWESOME! I’ve purchased two other baby gates previous to this gate and they were terrible in comparison to this one because they have no features but were the same price. I have a massive cat people tell me, he’s tall, he’s long, and he’s big boned. He fits through this gate no problem. With that being said, it’s not big enough for my 10 month old to fit through. My mom recently came to visit with her 17 year old Chihuahua who is frail, she was hesitant at first but once shown how to walk through, she started walking through with zero issues. This is nice because it gives the animals an escape from a crawling infant! The installation was fairly easy. There aren’t a ton of parts so it’s pretty straightforward. I had to alter the height of the sticky cup on my wall, I pried it off and I was impressed by how stuck on it was that there was no damage to my paint. The gate is cool because it opens, closes, and swings both ways. Towards you or away from you. Another unique feature is its ability to stay open on either side. When my baby is sleeping my husband and I don’t have to worry about opening and closing the gate to get through, we just leave it open. If you touch the gate with enough pressure it will swing closed and lock. The animal door also has a locking feature. You can open it and lock it or you can choose to slide it closed and lock it as well. I noticed while taking the video it may need some oil at some point, it’s getting a bit squeaky but other than that it’s excellent. Highly recommend.

Needed this gate to keep a toddler in a safe area, but needed the elderly family cats to be able to move freely to the next room to use the litter box. This gate worked perfectly and gave the pets a quick escape when the little one found them interesting. The toddler did try to climb the gate and considered trying the hole but was kept out. Surprisingly she did figure out the switch that is supposed to lock the cat door open or closed so we had to put tape over the switch to stop her from locking the cats in or out. Otherwise it’s a really sturdy gate with can span a good range of openings without marking the walls

I bought this for a client. Was pretty straightforward to set up and move. Has a nice walk through gate and separate cat entrance.
