Hot Ones | Heat Pack (Season 21)

We’re loved the Adobo Loco and Spicy Shark sauces. They both have heat and great flavor. I love the smoke on the Jalapeño Chico and how clean the burn is. The Spicy Shark is something else altogether. It’s a great complement to rice-heavy dishes. The flavor is complex and changes from slightly sweet to good heat on the palate in an interesting way. Can’t say the same for the Alchemy Peppers sauce. It tasted mechanical and generally made food worse.

The product description gave 6/10 to the shark, 7/10 to jalapeno chico and 9/10 to the watermelon ghost. If that was the heat rating, I experienced the opposite. Watermelon was sweet. Jalapeno was tangy. The shark immediately watered my eyes and the heat lingered in my tongue. All in all a delicious experience.

Great taste and heat

I mostly just bought these to complete the range of hot sauces I had for family get togethers. With this range we try it as a challenge more than for flavor, but they actually have good flavor as well.

I have purchased hot ones hot sauces before from the brick and mortar store in Williamsburg a few years back so I am aware of the incredible experience with these sauces on wings. I was a bit skeptical to order online because I saw some bottles exploding from mishandling in transit. My three sauces came in one piece and will be sure to deliver a kick! Thanks to Heatonist for delivering excellence again.

1 of the 3 bottles were broken and the sauce covered everything inside the box and soaked partially through it, fortunately the broken one was the mid-level sauce so at least I still have the milder and the hottest one so I'm not completely disappointed.

I just tried the Jalapeno Chico hot sauce and it is my new favorite everyday sauce. It has a great flavor and goes well with so many different foods. You will like it.

Was broken upon arrival so no way to even try the sauces. Bummed as my husband loves to get the sauces from hot ones since it’s such a large variety of heat levels. Sadly, not possible to taste, try or enjoy.
