Perfect speaker
It took awhile to get here. But it finally did. Works perfect. Smooth and sleek design.

Decent
In a chill setting, it's plenty loud. But if you're on the beach with waves crashing and winds blowing, it's not audible from 10 feet away. Even on full blast. A pair of them or the large one would be necessary for that. Sound quality and build quality seems very good for the price.

Style over substance.
This doesn't quite perform like you would think it would. I've seen much smaller speakers sound louder and better with more frequency range than this one.Even though this is surprisingly large and bulky, I give kudos to the design and also using fairly large passive bass radiators. However it seems like the included powered speaker never can take advantage of those passive radiators to throw out some good quality bass. The speaker seems to be really muddled with the mids and highs the highest seam almost staticky and screechy and are not pleasant to my ear to listen to at higher volumes.I didn't have another speaker to test stereo pairing however it seems like that is supported with this speaker.I can understand how someone might have difficulty orienting the speaker correctly however it's pretty simple: if the skull is pointing upwards then the speaker is upright.Plenty of better speakers at this price point.

Nice looking speaker, great sound
I really liked this mini speaker, for the price you get a portable and nice looking device which is also waterproof. The sound quality it's great and clear, it doesn't get too loud as it's a mini speaker but for a single room like a bedroom, kitchen or bathroom it does really well but also you can take it with you when hanging out with friends it will do the work. The battery life is great, connection is really fast and overall super easy to use, you just need to turn it on. The charging cable included is 3ft long and USB-A to USB-C which is really good and it includes 2 Skullcandy stickers that are really cool!

Party Mode doesn't work on Ounce Plus speakers... and even manufacturer support is clueless
I bought two of Ounce+ (Ounce Plus) speakers, and this Terrain Mini.In theory, they're supposed to have the same party mode protocol, meaning that any combination of up to 99 Ounce+ and Terrain (all variants) speakers can connect and play from the same source. My purpose was to build a varied ecosystem of speakers to carry with friends on group bike rides. Strong riders carry bigger, bass-rich speakers, while others (like myself) carry these Ounce Plus devices.Problem: the two Ounce Pluses would only connect to each other. Neither "saw" the Terrain device.Support... was a disaster. I doubt they natively speak English, as they missed my emphasized identification of the speakers as Ounce *PLUS* (since the original Ounce doesn't have the party mode feature). After a few email go arounds, I finally got someone who purported to know these... and who then told me to use the play (triangle) button to execute pairing. Problem: these *don't have* that button.I finally came close to the end of my return window, and (with their direction) opted to return these and the Terrain I had hoped to use. While they worked as speakers, and even would "true wireless pairing" to each other, I've given them one star because the very feature I sought was the one that didn't work... or perhaps even exist.
