THE YORK AND LANCASTER REGIMENT DESERVES BETTER THAN THIS
I bought this because it had the 65th and 84th - The York and Lancaster Regiment - on the front cover and I served with them. It has the worst write-up of all. It talks about how the name was chosen but nothing about their war service at all. Not even a mention of General Plumer. A big disappointment.

a great book with some interesting facts about long last regiments,it's a shame as some great regiments are lost forever, read about the battles they were in and the honours they got and deserved.

Past glories.
Great piece of historical info about our old Regiments. Little pieces of heroism by individuals also included. Nice book to dip into.
