This was not helpful. When I tried to use it on my dog she wouldn't have anything to do with me for over 2 hours. She hates it and she's scared of it. She's not afraidy cat she's a retired cattle dog and she hurted some really big cows.

This is a well made, great product. (My GSD would disagree, it’s hysterical to see how she reacts to it, with pleading eyes of desperation, as if I’m playing a sick joke haha) I ordered based off of measurements for the XL and it unfortunately does not have enough strap where needed to loosen an inch or two. So I’m afraid I’ll have to purchase again at the larger size. Bummer being as this was not cheap for my budget.Otherwise, the seller shipped out promptly and it was a smooth transaction. Just doesn’t work for my dog without loosening for her. So I cannot speak on whether it would help her hip issues.

A vet said our Labrador mix was a torn crucial ligament and the operation was very expensive with a very long recovery so we decided to try the brace. It has been quite successful as part of her treatment, and we have avoided surgery. We will make sure he keeps wearing it for at least another month on his walks.

My dog did seem to walk better with this on. However, she hated it and could easily get it off by rolling around and the velcro would come undone. Not worth the high cost

I just received this today. After working on adjustment and fitting it properly it really doesn't seem to do much of anything. If it is providing any real support it is not much. I will work with it a little bit more and see what my vet says. And I will happily update if it seems to help. But I would caution anyone wanting to make this purchase to read the reviews and think it through

I think this item didnt realky hold up on the dog. It kept falling off and dog chew the red belt and i believe it was a waste of money. Not happy 😒 at all.

My dog Ally has lost all strength in her hind legs due to hitting her back on the fence, but she still wants to walk outside. It does help her and she misses the freedom.
