They problem with double sided tape is difficulty removing the protective plastic. Not on this tape. It comes off easily and the tape is sticky. What more do you want?

I use double-sided tape for various audio install applications. This stuff isn't bad, but it doesn't hold as well as its 3M counterpart, in my opinion. If you have any weight on it or need it to hold for a long time with gravity working against it, I'd consider another option.

I picked up this tape after seeing it in a shootout on yt. I have a phone mount in my truck that I just could get to stay stuck on the dash. I tried scotch brand and 3m mounting tape but it still falls off after a few days. I decided to give this a try with the recommended adhesion promoter and it’s holding great so far. It does recommend to let it cure for a couple of days but it’s working great. Simple install, good thickness for textured surfaces, and an amazing value for the amount you get. I should have enough to last me the next couple of years.

Used this to mount my solar panel to my rod of top tent. It’s held up amazing. From 110°f days to -10° I’ve never had to worry about this coming off. Holds down just as good as glue without the mess! Size is true to listed specs. Clean surface thoroughly before installation and it’ll do the rest of the work!

I purchased this tape due to the test and recommendation of Project Farm. I was installing a wireless vehicle controller and needed to firmly locate the very lightweight wireless receiver inside the winch's solenoid cover where spacing was tight. The air temperature was ~ 50-degrees F and so was the plastic cover. The tape did not stick as well to the inside of the solenoid cover or the receiver as expected, but did hold the receiver in place long enough for reinstallation of the solenoid cover. Maybe the tape would have worked better if the surfaces were warmer during installation or if I had been able to install the receiver with the tape and then let it sit in place for a few hours before reinstalling the solenoid cover, but that was not possible for this fitment. I also had a 3M tape failure installing a vehicle dash camera mount to the glass windshield during the same type of weather and temperature (all installs inside an enclosed building), so maybe warmer temps than 50-degrees are required for better usage experience.

This LLPT double-sided mounting tape works very well and has strong adhesion. It holds securely once applied and is great for mounting lightweight items without drilling. The 1/2" width is perfect for precise placement, and the 18-foot roll provides good value. Easy to use, reliable, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Highly recommended for home and garage projects.
