Amazing value, very comfortable
Easy set up. Lightweight. Cheap. Perfect for my use. I didn’t wanna spend $150+ on the name brand chairs so I ordered this one. I have used it on countless backpacking and camping trips. It has held up to all elements, survived being dropped countless times, and still works flawlessly. It is very comfortable, I prefer it more than a regular folding chair. Definitely recommend for a lightweight but budget friendly camp chair.

Light, durable and comfortable
Great chair! Light, pretty compact and very comfortable! I was wearing of the mesh part being too flimsy but it is actually a firm fabric and seems like it will last a long time. I love the low to the ground hight. Got it for backpacking and I am very pleased with it !

Best backpacking chair!
Used this chair while backpacking and I loved it! I don’t see why you would buy a 180$ backpacking chair when you can get this. It can feel a little flimsy at times but as long as you’re not moving around like a madman the chair is amazing. Only downside i see is that it sinks in dirt and sand but that’s really just on where your sitting not the chair. I weigh 230lb and this chair held me very comfortably and had enough space for me (I have a wider back) It’s easy to set up and pack, weighs around the same as the competitors while being extremely affordable and good quality.

Compact packable chair, a bit hard to assemble
I bought two of these for a trip to Hawaii. I actually ordered a couple different chairs to see which would be the easiest to pack, and this was the most compact. It’s very lightweight and fits into a small drawstring bag. The seat is mesh so it dries quickly and you don’t roast sitting in it. Absolutely recommend for a packable chair. The downsides—it is kind of a pain to assemble and disassemble. After the first day, I ended up throwing two of these assembled in the back of my rental car so I wouldn’t have to fuss with it every day! It also tips over backwards fairly easily. I would set it up and lean it forward slightly to make it more stable.

Perfect design and size for the Urban Sketcher
I bought this to put in my small backpack for my days out "urban sketching" ( despite the name, I actually prefer sketching the countryside). It's not only light weight, it's actually comfortable, and it puts me in a perfect position to sketch with my supplies in easy reach on the ground right next to me. It's exactly what I wanted. I also bring along a small inflatable travel pillow if I need to adjust my back position, but so far have not needed to. I had this in my cart for awhile and when I saw it at an amazing deal for the recent Prime Days, I instantly purchased it. Best decision! I would probably buy again, even without the deal, now that I know the product. I'm now curious how long it will last. Time will tell.

writing titles is the hardest part of a review
First off, this chair is very comfortable. Surprisingly comfortable. It doesn't have the issue some other chairs have of cutting across your back at the top of the chair. Secondly, this chair is very unstable. So unstable that it unnerves you when you sit in it. It's better with experience, but even then, you have to consciously sit in it in a certain way to keep from tipping over. Your legs straight out front or crossed over will work, but if your legs are off-center at all, you're tipping over. It isn't an issue as much with my 100-pound spouse as it is with 200-pound me, so if you are on the lighter side, you'll probably like it more. There are better, heavier chairs, and there are better, more expensive chairs. I don't think you'll find a better chair at this price point and at this weight, but I would recommend either getting a heavier chair or a more expensive chair. If they made the legs a little longer, I think it would be worth the weight trade-off, because they have mastered the comfort level. One thing I like about backpacking chairs is they also make for good camping chairs or good ballgame chairs, but this chair doesn't qualify for that designation. The only reason you'll ever want to use this chair is to save weight on a hike. One last note: these types of chairs (seat fabric separately attached to a frame) are excellent if you have back problems. The seat curves with all along your back and butt, providing excellent support. No separate lower-back cushion needed.

Great chair
Took this chair for a two night backpacking campout. Lightweight. Didn’t take up much room in my pack. I found it very easy to set up. Packing it away was slightly more difficult, but was able to do it without too much difficulty. It was a lifesaver! Sits very low to ground, so getting up can be tricky, but very comfortable! Didn’t have it on a different campout and was miserable trying to set on the ground or on a log.

Not strong
I bought this a month in advance for hiking trip. I set it twice before the trip. It was easy to use and set up. First use on the actual hike, the bar toward the front of the chair bent under my weight. I weigh 150 lbs. I had no other weight on me but the clothes I was wearing.

These Trekology ultralight camping chairs are an absolute game-changer! I bought two, and they’ve become the stars of every outdoor adventure. Lightweight enough to carry anywhere and sturdy enough to make you forget they’re "ultralight," they’ve got the perfect balance of portability and comfort. Setting them up is a breeze—honestly, it’s so easy it almost feels like a magic trick. And once you’re seated, it’s like lounging on a cloud (if clouds had great lumbar support). Whether I’m by the campfire, watching a sunset, or just pretending to be a wilderness king, these chairs make the experience better. Now, a word of caution: these chairs do have a playful side. If you lean a little too far one way or another, they might try to teach you the laws of gravity. It’s not a dealbreaker—just a quirky feature that adds to the excitement of camp life! Bonus points for their compact size! They fit neatly into my backpack without hogging space, leaving more room for snacks or, you know, the essentials. If you’re looking to level up your camping game, these chairs are the throne you deserve. Five stars and a standing ovation (until I sit down again, of course)! 🌲🪑

I'm not sure what is considered ultralight, but this chair is light at best. It sits very low to the ground but not in an uncomfortable way because it is super comfortable both for the seating position and height. Keep in mind though that it wouldn't be much good in sandy areas like the beach or the desert because it might dig in the sand and then you're left almost sitting on the ground. That being said, it feels like top quality, super easy and quick to setup, the mesh is very tough so not worried about it ripping and the aluminum tubes are very solid, although a little pricey overall
