Pretty amazing at £80 (I paid £55 at launch)
My current Adidas earbuds are slowly losing battery performance after 18 months solid use, they were £150 in early 2022 so I've been looking at the high end Sony buds etc and then saw a launch offer on these. At the price I thought why not, have had lots of Anker products in the past and also soundcore items, always good value. Paid £1 for a £25 discount on launch day and have had them 24 hours. Been using them for maybe 5 or 6 of those hours so far. So for the cash I really am amazed at the quality of these. Pairing was super easy to my Galaxy A34, just opened the case and the phone found them , I did all ready have the soundcore app installed (have some Anker headphones for work and a speaker all ready) , which may have assisted with this , but the fast pairing is a great feature. The various options in the app are worth playing with , the ANC is good, not sure it's as good as they state but I've no complaints, and the auto changing to conditions really does work, walking our dog this morning it clicked in to remove wind noise and again to reduce traffic noise - very clever. They sound pretty good as well, listening to Spotify which is about the limit of my use for these, and I took and made a call while wearing them and the. Sound and microphone were both good. Regardless of the ANC to me they sound better with it enabled so for a fuller sound I'll be using the setting all the time. Battery life is good, and they came fully charged. Bonus. Overall .more than happy with these. I'm using the preinstalled rubber buds but will have play with them to see if the fit could be improved for my ears (I haven't had one fall out so far so think they are fine) One other feature of note is the ability to have 2 devices connected. I've added my Samsung Tab S6 lite to the app and again pairing was very simple. So a big thumbs up for me. Might even buy a spare set if they come up on offer again. Amazing value. For my usage (teams calls, commuting and walking mostly), I'm not sure I need to spend more. The Adidas set will revert to being for exercise use (which is what I got them for but then just used them all the time). Seriously worth a look and maybe the best earbuds you can get at the moment for less than £80. EDIT: had some issues getting them to connect to my wiondows 11 laptop - if you suffer the same go into phone app and add new device and then in windows settings ensure bluetooth advanced is selected - my hp laptop couldn't find them without this setting. all good now and very comfortable to wear over a working day. EDIT 2 - after 30 plus days. Took a 4.20 hour flight yesterday and with the normal 45 minutes before take off added the low battery warning came on before we landed. I guess almost 5 hours is pretty good and the ANC definitely worked hard on the flight! They didn't run out of life but I think I had hoped for more. Still very happy overall.

Very impressive
Get the app, I’ll explain at the end. My first noise cancellation headphones and I’m happy to say they are affective. Really simple setup. Used straight away with the M size. With secure fit. Look and feel good quality and the case is very smart. *don’t think I’ve seen this mentioned but the open case also makes for a landscape phone stand, which is great for tv watching etc* Arrived charged and a week later I still haven’t needed to plug the case in. The touch control has many options and works well once you’re used to it. Sound quality is the reason I’d dock a star: this is personal, with me listening mainly to podcasts. I find the sound lacking some midrange clarity. It’s what you’re used to, I guess. The sound is absolutely fine and having listened to music to test, the bass is full and probably top end for the price. The Soundcore App takes things up a notch (I already had with a Bluetooth speaker) Not only does it link seamlessly but gives you sound and fit tests. However the live translation it offers is amazing. I tested it with a Spanish work colleague and it was perfect. Not only does it annotate the original but dynamically adjusts the translation to correct structure- then speaks it to you. Also it does this real time and listens to the speaker while taking in the translation delay. Very impressive. Tried with Spanish, Thai and Japanese. As a result, three people have bought these! Wish there was more EQ control for the sound but I can’t not give 5 stars.

Functional and budget friendly with good anc
Well designed case Ear buds comfort is good for the budget price but not the best in the market. Sound quality is good and so is the microphone quality. Very good noise cancelling. High frequency noises are sometimes still heared but vast majority of noise will be eliminated. Battery life is fabulous Range is more than enough Overall light weight and and very functional given the price. I gave it 4 stars as I did experience ab issue with the headphones after an update where they randomly produced noise burst but I was refund and they where very friendly.

Excellent value headphones
I bought these Soundcore headphones at the start of April, and after using them daily for a few weeks, I can honestly say I’m really impressed. The sound quality is excellent for the price—clear vocals, solid bass without being overwhelming, and a good balance across different types of music. I’ve used them for everything from podcasts to playlists, and they’ve handled it all well. Comfort has been another big plus. I can wear them for hours without any discomfort, which wasn’t the case with my previous pair. The build feels sturdy but still lightweight, so they’re easy to carry around. Battery life has also lived up to expectations. I don’t find myself needing to charge them constantly, which is a huge convenience when I’m out and about. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for reliable, great-sounding headphones without spending a fortune.

Great value for money
After moving from Apple to Samsung, I had to retire my AirPods (well, my wife took took ownership of them), I was in the market for some new headphones for every day use. I started looking at the top end of the market, around the same price point as AirPods, but a lot of the ones I was looking at had negative reviews for one reason or another. When you are looking north of £150, you only want the 5* treatment. Normally, I start looking cheap and end up in the expensive bracket, however, I did the opposite with these. They appeared in my list, and as they had a decent rating and it was a brand I knew, I took a look. After scanning the reviews, I took the plunge, and since they have arrived, I really have been really impressed with them. They have a nice case (albeit a bit bigger than AirPod case), but the case is also wireless charging compatible. I actually prefer this case overall, as the ear pieces sit in the case magnetically, and the connection can be cleaned if required. The AirPods, you couldnt reach the connectors if they ever needed cleaning, which sometimes made charging intermittent. The sound quality is great. I tend to use these for podcasts, but the music I have had on sounds equally as good. They are comfy in the ear if wearing them for a decent session. They also come with a decent app for the phone, where you customise the audio, change the button presses and change the mode from Standard to Noise Cancelling etc. The only 'complaints' are, the ear tips can turn inside out as you take them out of your ear. The button presses can be a bit intermittent, especially when trying to use the double tap features etc. Sometimes it registers, sometimes it doesnt. Sometimes you think a single tap hasnt registered and you end up double tapping etc. I dont use the taps too much, mainly for pausing etc. so this doesnt impact me too much, but if this is something you rely on, you may notice it more than me. Overall, I would definitely recommend these for the price.

If you like good quality sound these earbuds are not for you.
I have not written a review for a while. Yet, I felt it was important to communicate my opinion to help other customers. Especially given my experience and knowledge of headphones and earbuds. There are two reasons I buy headphones/earbuds. 1. Sound quality 2. Noise Cancelling That’s it. Everything else is a bonus. I have over four decades of experience with headphones and earphones. Ranging from £10.00 to £500+ including custom moulds. To give you some context, I currently love the WH-1000XM3, but hated the WH-1000XM5. I am thinking of buying the WH-1000XM4, soon, even though they are old. But, my go to earbuds are the AirPods Pro (2nd generation). They are an excellent earbud, not perfect, but very, very good. I pair them with an iPhone. I will buy AirPods Pro (3rd generation) on the day of release, hopefully this year! In the interim, I wanted another pair of noise cancelling earbuds. I heard lots of excellent reviews for SoundCore, by Anker. Many YouTubers provided extensive reviews and praised them — and a lot of respected audiophiles too, which I find surprising. I can now conclude, much of that praise is hype. Having purchased the Soundcore by Anker Liberty 4 NC in the Prime Sale for £59.99. I returned them within less than an hour. Here’s why. First, the good things. Anker’s marketing, branding, packaging, features are super. The case is brilliant, albeit a little chunky. It makes a satisfying click when you close it. I love the front light too. There are also two inner lights that highlight that the buds are charging. And I love how the magnets snap the earbuds to the case for a secure charge. It is so satisfying! Apple could learn a lot from the case alone. The Noise Cancelling is good, I heard the music, not the environment. Those who are having difficulties try repairing. If that does not work, you may have a defective set. There’s nothing wrong with Anker’s Noise Cancelling. However, what lets these earbuds down is the sound profile. This is a tremendous disappointment. Anker takes considerable effort to allow the listener to change the sound profile. They provide various ways to calibrate the earbuds. For example, by running a sound/hearing test, providing their own sound signatures and even an EQ (albeit limited band). The result of which is, pah! A load of rubbish. Apple doesn’t provide any of this, they just sound good. Not amazing, but certainly acceptable. I listen to HQ, lossless music and maybe that’s part of the issue. But the same was true across Apple Music, Tidal and Amazon Prime platforms. The earbuds frequently produced digital artefacts in the sound. Bass was boomy, the sound stage was poor. The frequencies were an absolute ‘muddy mess’, no matter how hard I tried to EQ them. There were moments when I thought, “Oh, that sounds fantastic...” but those moments were few and far between. I could have run my music through another wide band, EQ. But, if the sound doesn’t sound great flat to begin with, I’d be wasting a lot of time and effort and so I didn’t want to go down that hole. I felt cheated. At this price point, I’m not expecting the world. But, I’ve had Sony headphones that cost just £20.00 which sound far, far better than these. If you are in the market for a pair of earbuds but don’t care about sound quality, these are for you. If you cannot tell the difference between what sounds good and what doesn’t, again, these are for you. However, if you don’t care about sound, there are more alternatives at a much lower price than this model. But do yourself a favour. Listen to good sounding earphones, even if you have to attend a Hi-Fi store. Then you’ll be able to sort the good from the bad. And, more importantly, all manufacturers will have to up their game. Because those leaving reviews will know what they are talking about. I hope you find this review helpful, honest and accurate. Good luck!

Phenomenal
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Phenomenal – These Earbuds Blew Me Away! I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC truly deserves every word of praise. From the moment I opened the box, I could tell this was a premium product — the build quality feels solid yet lightweight, and the sleek, modern design is just gorgeous. Noise Cancelling: I was absolutely stunned by the noise cancellation. The 98.5% reduction is not just marketing talk — it’s the real deal. Whether I’m on a crowded train, walking through a busy street, or even sitting next to a humming air conditioner, the world simply fades away. The adaptive noise cancellation adjusts perfectly to my surroundings and even seems to tailor itself to my ears. I can enjoy my music in peace without cranking up the volume. Sound Quality: The sound is simply breathtaking. The highs are crisp, the mids are rich, and the bass is deep but never overwhelming — it’s beautifully balanced. Listening to Hi-Res tracks on these is like rediscovering my favorite songs all over again. Podcasts and audiobooks sound clear and natural, and phone calls are crystal-clear even in windy conditions. Battery Life & Charging: Battery life is just incredible — up to 50 hours with the case! I’m a heavy listener, and I still only have to charge it every few days. The wireless charging feature is a wonderful bonus and makes life so much easier. Connectivity & Comfort: The Bluetooth 5.3 connection is rock-solid — no drops, no delays, even when I move between rooms. Pairing was effortless and took seconds. The earbuds fit snugly and comfortably; I can wear them for hours without fatigue, which is perfect for long work sessions or travel. Final Verdict: The Liberty 4 NC is hands-down the best pair of wireless earbuds I’ve ever owned. They deliver premium features, phenomenal sound, and world-class noise cancellation at a price that feels like a bargain for what you get. If you want top-tier noise cancelling, outstanding sound quality, and a reliable all-day companion for music, work, and travel — look no further. These earbuds set a new standard for value and performance. ✅ Highly recommended – a true 10/10 product.

Incredible for the price
After getting used to the sound in my quality (and reasonably expensive) PC headphones, I wanted something compact to take travelling that could do my favourite music justice and block out the noise when on a plane, in a busy train station, etc. I had a pair of budget earbuds whose sound quality was adequate but nothing to write home about, and a noise cancellation mode that was so ineffective I often had to physically check whether or not it was turned on. Not so with these. The noise cancellation is impressive; white-noise-like sounds like air conditioning, engine noise, rain on windows etc. vanish almost entirely, and intermittent mid-range sounds like people talking become muffled and indistinct like they're happening a few rooms away in a house with thick walls. The clarity of sound when playing music is great too; my music library has a fair range of genres and these earbuds seem to do well across the board in terms of clarity of reproduction. The companion app has a variety of EQ presets to choose from and a simple but serviceable custom EQ builder that lets you save multiple bespoke profiles. There's also the "HearID" feature which gets you to choose your favourite out of various music clips to determine what you like and build a custom EQ. I found this reasonable accurate but there's no way to test it on your own music until you've finished the process so I found a couple of tracks later that revealed something about the HearID profile that I didn't like - but, happily, you can go back in and edit your HearID curve to correct for this. I found the EQ settings to be very effective, which means the right EQ can make things sound fantastic, but also means a bad EQ setting can make things sound terrible - if you listen to a wide range of styles you may want to leave the EQ on flat, or else have a few presets and get used to swapping frequently. There's also the option for 3D surround sound mode, which does broaden the sound stage quite impressively but I found on certain things it can introduce audio artifacts - some vocals pick up a slight edge that makes them sound like someone singing through a tube - these are usually minor but sometimes annoying, but you don't lose much by disabling the 3D mode. When the noise cancellation is running you may notice a very slight white noise, but this is only really detectable when whatever you're listening to is very quiet or has periods of silence, and it's pretty faint. At the other end of the scale, these earbuds can get very loud for those who like it that way - but if you don't, the app has an adjustable volume limiter you can enable to keep it within your comfort levels. All in all, I was very impressed with their performance given the reasonable price point - my old "budget" earbuds were only 25% cheaper than these, and are completely blown away in comparison. A solid buy for anyone looking for quality sound and effective noise cancellation without breaking the bank - and worth noting they seem to be frequently discounted (they were down at £55 when I bought them) so keep an eye out for that.
