Great product! Not only does it work really well, but it’s also beautiful, easy to carry, and doesn’t spill. Super convenient for travel and everyday use with my dog. Highly recommend!

Great for Adventures
Disclosure: I’ve only used one time as of this review. I’ve had this item and another one sitting my saved cart for 6+ months until I decided to just buy it the other day after becoming upset with the current water situation I was dealing with at the time. Pros: It is easy to use as far as dispensing the way and getting my dog to drink from it. Easier than carrying a bowl and a bottle, I taught my dog how to drink from a sports bottle but as the weather starts to get warmer that would not be great in the summer. It is easy to carry and comes with a sturdy wrist strap, I was able to attached the bottle to my dog’s leash and wear it as a cross body for hands free movement. I used to carry a gallon jug or one of those personal igloo coolers for my dog to drink from on long adventures, but this seems to work better. Cons: You have to screw on the lid just right otherwise it will leak, and even if you do put it on right… if it falls over in the car or something it can still leak a little. There is no way to detach the drinking bowl (from what I can see) to wash it, but you are able to detach the wrist strap when you want to wash the entire container. Overall: It does hold a good amount of water, and the opening is large enough to put ice cubes in but if you plan on being out long or your dog is a heavy drinker, you may need to bring extra water. I wish there was a hook of the other side so you could wear it as a cross body as carrying the full container for an extended amount of time could become heavy. I’m happy that I got it, and recommend for any dog owner this summer. As time goes on and the days get hotter, I will update this review if my opinions change. The container holds about 1600mL of water, and each bowl filled is about 400mL. Ideally you can fill the drinking bowl about 5-6 times which could last an 1 active large dog on a hot day… about 2 hours of play.

Awesome size!
I give this a 4.5-4.75 stars because it is just that awesome. Took it on a 3.5 mile hike with a 55lb cattle dog, 37lb mini Aussie, a 12lb and a 6lb chihuahua(s) with almost no shade and 78-80 degree temps during the walk. Okay, so the chihuahuas rode in backpacks for nearly 3.25 miles, but that’s beside the point. This jug kept them all well hydrated, and we went through about 2/3 of the water for all. That gave me a spare 1/3 to wash all those dirty paws off at the end lol. Pros: large volume, slide out bowl, no leaking and easy button dispensing of basically controlled gravity fed water down into the bowl. I even walked with the bowl slid out and water in it , which the big dogs enjoyed just hitting in stride so I didn’t waste any water. Not quite cons: slide out bowl required me to change my grip on the jug to deploy, and could be sticky if I wasn’t pulling correctly. I always got it deployed, but I hoped it would be a hair smoother than it was. Not calling that a con, because it worked. I like the wrist strap, but to be fair, that much water hanging off your wrist can’t be a good thing, so I kept a grip on the handle…which was heavy. When you have a 36lb mini Aussie pulling your right arm off, and a 12lb chihuahua riding on your back, you don’t notice the weight in your left hand? I think a shoulder strap would have been better for this than a wrist strap due to volume/weight. Again, not quite a con, but it was a thought and I could see the benefit of having that hand free. The back up plan was to swing it around like a club in the event a wasp tried to get me. My biggest concern is the built-in loop that the strap attaches to…which is plastic. It’s not a question of IF it will snap, but when. The only time you will carry this is when it is full, and it will break sooner rather than later. I’m going to go proactive on this puppy and repurpose an old least into a shoulder or crossbody strap and secure this bad boy through the handle on the jug’s body. My foot and chihuahuas are thanking me already. Again, these aren’t quite cons because I will haul this thing everywhere my dogs go and I will buy another and another and another if needed due to just how convenient the whole thing was overall. Providing water to that many dogs on a nice walk has truly never been easier overall. I literally didn’t have a free hand to photograph the jug in action, what with the pulling Aussie and baby walrus on my back, but you can at least see the pooped big dogs and the backpack riders after their fun little outing 😂

Updated review
Updating my review and rating... Two things: 1) Great customer service. They saw what I had to say and had a genuine, kind reaction. To me, that is personal and huge. 2) I have a brand new and much improved bowl. The quality is very sturdy. I do not anticipate having any issues with potential leaks, it is very easy to glide open and closed, and the bowl size is still more than acceptable for my larger dog. The plastic is still light enough that even when it is full I do not feel weighed down or overwhelmed. The strap to go around my wrist is a great addition that came on both my initial bowl and the new one. Overall, I am very happy with this new bowl and when it comes time to replace it, I will gladly come back and purchase from this company. Again, great customer service. Truly does make all the difference. And they offered a great and more than reasonable solution. I have an 80lb dog, so I needed a larger portable bowl. Initially, this did great. Held the water and was easy to open and close. I did not use it harshly; it was never dropped or put in the elements. But in less than a year, it no longer holds water and has become very difficult to open and close. I'm young and do not have limited movement in my hands, so for this to be difficult for me is a surprise. But truthfully, the biggest issue is the fact that it leaks now, no matter the amount of water I put in. And not gradually, it comes out quickly and makes a mess. I'm rating it 3 stars because there is a potential mine was just faulty quality, but it is disappointing to have had it last less than a year.

SOOOOO CONVENIENT!
I’ve been using this portable dog water bottle on walks and trips for a few weeks, and it’s been a game-changer. The large capacity keeps my dog hydrated, and the attached bowl makes drinking easy anywhere, whether we’re at the park, on a boat, or even at dog-friendly restaurants. It’s sturdy, leak-free, and really convenient for travel. Overall, this product makes outings with my dog much easier and more enjoyable.

Awesome product
I bought this for going camping with my dogs and it was great! I also use it during the summer months when they come along with me for car rides, going to the dog park, etc. Make sure to keep the bowl area clean of debris or it won't slide in/out correctly, that was the only issue with camping, but nothing serious. Sturdy, large capacity and works great for my pups

Useful for occasional hiking, not daily hiking
Please keep in mind that I've had this jug for about a month and used it daily as I have high drive/energy herding breed dogs and live in Florida. I purchased the 72oz black jug. PROS- Lightweight while empty and still very manageable when full, extremely convenient for those who go on a lot of outings with their pups. The various handles and the loop all helped with carry position, typically I used the handle on the side when the bowl was empty and when there was water in it, I used the handle on the top. CONS- The tracks the bowl slides on are not sand-friendly and the bowl will jam closed/open easily if there's any particulate there. The tab used to pull the bowl out, with this issue in mind, is slick and small so it's difficult to pull on. I am a small woman and don't have large hands, but even so the tab was a bear to grip and utilize when I needed to in this instance. I managed the problem by keeping the bowl partially open at all times so that I'd have a usable edge to pull on. I would have liked to see some type of seal around the lip of the bowl to help left over water stay in the bowl when the jug is on its side; otherwise, you have to carry the jug up right lest you lose the water you're trying to save. That being said, the handle on the top isn't as carrier friendly as the one on the side- its edges are rounded yes but the handle itself is thin. The biggest con is the dispensing system. After only a month of using the jug daily, the wand that pushes down on the stopper to dispense water no longer sits in the center and therefore doesn't contact to dispense water properly if at all. It's as though the wand is suddenly shorter, or for some reason the stopper doesn't sit right in its housing. I've attempted to adjust the stopper accordingly, and I've checked the wand to ensure the button was fully pushing it down; it was. This was an issue even while the jug was full, so it's not as though the level of the stopper is dependent on its buoyancy within a certain amount of water. The fact that I have to reach into the jug itself in an attempt to fix anything regarding the stopper is rather displeasing. Given that this jug at the largest size is basically $30, you'd think there'd be another option. I'll openly admit I didn't think of this issue before purchasing, but all the same the problem is present. Please note that I've dropped the jug only once, and that was from less than 4ft up. OVER ALL- it's a good jug for the occasional hiker, especially if you keep the tracks clean of debris. Both my dogs took to it easily and could for the most part drink at the same time if they had to. I really like that it's so large considering where I live and my lifestyle. I also like that it's so light weight even when filled to the brim. Unfortunately, I'll have to get a replacement- something else- because it can't stand up to the use it's been seeing.

Perfect dog bowl/water bottle combo.
This water bottle is everything I need for my dogs. Forget those water cups for dogs, or the bowls that get knocked over. My puppy is clumps y and I swear she goes out of her way to knock over the water bowl when we play at the park, but not anymore! We took it camping and it serves as extra water storage for the dogs. My 2 medium size dogs go through this in about a day. The different handle options makes this easy to carry, and it’s pretty easy to clean. My one gripe is that the bowl can be a little difficult to pull out at first but after using it a bit, it’s loosened up.

Safe, practical and a must buy for dog owners.
I was a little unsure when ordering this however I am very impressed not only with the presentation, the quality but also the materials and the total use ability. I have 3 dogs 2 with long noses (1 giant breed) and a pug. However as you can see from the pictures all 3 have no issues with using these and are quite happy to. The water bottle is great. You can lock it off so the water doesn’t spill out, the actual water drinker is soft and flexible that it folds down when not needed and firm enough that it stays in place when being used. You simply squeeze the main body (after opening the lock on top) and the water flows into the drinking cup. All of my dogs easily accused this and where very happy to drink from it. This also comes with 2 travel size bowls. Again these can be used for water or food, they are also adjustable in depth which is great if like me you have different size dogs. The bowls also have handy carabiners on them which makes it greasy for walking / travelling. I have so far found no fault with this product and I’m actually thinking of presents for doggy friends. Also as a bonus I love the colours I’d these. Nice and bright and can easily be found when in the boot! Definitely a product I’m happy to allow my dogs to use.
