High failure rate
I was told to use these bulbs by an electrician however I have experienced a very high failure rate, not getting anywhere near the specified expected life.

High failure rate and very limited life
Of six Megaman GU10 5.5w bulbs that were installed, four failed after approximately 7,000 hours use (the manufacturer claims a life of 25,000 hours). Although I contacted Megaman direct, I did not even receive an acknowledgement. Since this is a premium-priced product that fell well short of expectations, I have since switched to far less expensive bulbs from another manufacturer.
