Q: How to adjust different modes? I don't see in manual.

If you have a F1 it is on pg 23 under gears switching but you are right the manual is a little tough to figure everything out

Q: Is the bike waterproof? Can I keep it outside on rainy days?

No it's not. It states in the manual not to ride in the rain or get the unit wet. I have mistakenly left my bike outside a few times and I have riden in the rain when an unexpected rain drops out of nowhere and my bike has been fine. I don't use my bike if it's already raining, good luck and safe travels.

Q: What is the difference between R1 and F1 models?

Hi dear costomer, Their function is the same, only the appearance is slightly different. You could purchase according to the appearance you like!

Q: Are there 5 speed or just one? The video says there's just 1 on the F1. Are they internal gears?

Just one speed. But, unless you enjoy the potential exertion/exercise afforded by five gears, the motor makes the one pedaling gear very easy.
