I wanted to come on here and update my review after a year and a half of owning and using the MagOne phong grip and stand. This was exactly what I was looking for, after having backed the first and second generation ohSnap phone grips, and them constantly changing featured I originally loved.The grip itself is everything I was looking for - a strong, comfortable, flexible, silicone grip, with an integrated stand that can go in either direction, all on a magnetic mount. I don't think I can stress enough how hard it is to find all these features in one, functional product.My initial complaint would be that the finish on the metal is not as durable as I'd hoped for, but it is a metal product, and I'm fairly rough with my phone. It's definitely not a deal breaker, because the color doesn't wear off in any kind of offensive or gross looking way haha. Most of the rose gold faded off my grip within the first 6 months, and now it's only got a touch of rose gold on the edges, but it doesn't look all that ugly.The silicone grip is everything I'd hoped for. I love that they came with replacements so that you can try out the different kinds. A huge bonus is that they carry many of the replacement options for sale separately. I see complains about the silicone wearing out, but that's kind of the price you pay for a comfortable grip. I have gone through endless ohSnap grips (the OG ones with silicone), and those were double the price! I went into this expecting to have to buy replacement straps.I think my initial rating would have been a 4 star due to durability. But now, a year and a half later, I wanted to come update to a 5 star. The customer service is beyond amazing. When a seller stands by their products, answers questions promptly, and offers support a year and a half after purchase - that makes me want to support them forever. I reached out to the sellers with a question, and they went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot and come up with a solution. I cannot recommend this grip enough.Purchase confidently that the seller will stand by their product and help make sure you are happy. This is an amazing phong grip/stand combo, well made, magnet is still strong as heck (I have an XL phone) a year and half in, and the seller response is spectacular. 10/10 would recommend again and again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars My Favorite Phone Grip! *by A***. on Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2023* I used the LoveHandle grips for years but eventually grew frustrated over how dirty the straps would get, how my phone wouldn’t lay flat on my desk, nightstand, etc., the difficulties of using a magnetic car mount and how I’d have to purchase a new one every time I changed my case and/or upgraded my phone (the last 2 I believe they’ve resolved with their “Pro” option but is still bulky and more expensive), how my phone couldn’t lay flat. Enter the MagOne..Pro’s:- No installation! Has a strong magnet that connects to your MagSafe case. The MagOne ring has never come off while in use.- Can easily remove the MagOne ring and slap it onto a new case.- The fact it’s low profile allows my phone to lay flat on other flat surfaces.- Allows me to easily place and remove my phone from my magnetic vent car mount. The magnetic connection is strong enough that it’s never fallen off the mount. What’s even better is that the MagOne ring doesn’t come off of my case and the mount has never budged from the vent it’s attached to while removing my phone (I use the WIZGEAR round magnetic vent car mount. They work amazingly together!).- Because of the design, you can easily adjust the angle of the grip based on how you’re using your phone instead of only vertically. I usually have mine positioned where the bottom part of the grip is pointing slightly left when being held in my left hand. Need to use the grip of with your phone in horizontal mode? Slide the MagOne off and place it so the grip is horizontal. Regardless of how I’m using my phone, I can adjust the grip so that it’s comfortable.- It’s supposed to work seamlessly with MagSafe chargers but I don’t use one at the moment but at least I know I can if I decide to get one in the future.- Comes with 3 different types of grips AND multiples of them. The fact is, the thin and soft silicon that makes it comfortable also makes them prone to stretching and tearing overtime with use. I’ve had to replace one so far in the 6 months I’ve been using it. They also offer packs of replacement grips in the event I ever need more. This also gives me the option to use different colors too! They’re also super easy to replace.- It also comes with a kickstand! I can adjust the angle I want it at and is sturdy.- Great value for the versatility and extra grips.Cons- And this might be just me being an idiot… but when I bought this, I thought there’d be a piece I’d have to attach using adhesive and was really confused on how to “install it”. I didn’t have a MagSafe case at the time and thought the adapter ring could be attached to my existing case. The instructions that came with it didn’t immediately make it clear to me that it would attach with a magnet directly to the case. I accidentally figured it out when I had my phone out of my case and was fiddling around with it and it suddenly attached to the back of my phone. The magnet in the phone isn’t strong enough though so I ordered a MagSafe case just to use this but haven’t regretted it since.- Speaking of MagSafe cases, you need one and it limits the cases you can choose from. Additionally, for some reason almost all case manufacturers insist on having a circular decal (if the case isn’t translucent or transparent) with the another dash decal below, I guess so you can easily line up the magnets. I’m not a fan of the way that looks but luckily the MagOne at least covers it the ugly circle. The dash thingie under it is still visible which to me, really ruins designs.- I ordered the pink one and paint has begun to fade off the ring. I can always touch it up if I want to though or paint it a new color if I want. An option most other grips don’t have.- Lastly, the pink silicon grips are a different pink than the MagOne ring.
