While I've owned plenty of Pumas over the years, I've never worn this particular style. I thought they looked pretty cool in the picture so I figured I'd give em a shot and it worked out great. They look better in person. As I mentioned, I've owned Pumas in the past, so I knew they wouldn't be as comfortable as alot of the more modern shoes around these days, but they were actually a little more comfortable out of the box than expected. I was able to insert the insoles from an old pair of Skechers that I own which gives them a bit more arch support and comfort. The fact that they aren't the best shoes to wear if you're on your feet all day is the only reason I rated them 4 stars rather than 5. But as I mentioned, I knew they wouldn't be the most comfortable shoes straight out of the box. They're more style over function, but I'm sure they'll be more comfortable as they get broken in. For those that live in a cold weather climate, careful wearing these shoes when it's icy. I live in Denver, CO and I found out the hard way that they're horrible on ice when I slipped this morning and nearly broke my a**. Overall though, I dig these shoes and would recommend them to anyone considering buying a pair. Puma, on the other hand, is not consistent (I've worn different sizes for different Puma styles, and this is the seventh pair of Pumas I have owned. And depending on the styles, I've worn an 11, 11.5, and 12 in Pumas. So here you go. I wear an 11.5 in Nikes, and I purchased an 11.5 in this Puma shoe. Fortunately, it fit okay. The fit is slightly too long, but I know, from owning other Pumas, that if I go down a half size, it will be too small. I ordered size 10 US and width is fine but they fit too big, I've added a athletic insole which helps with arch support and cushioning but still shoe fits to big. When I tighten the laces the show digs into my toes during the gate cycle. The only way to help is by leaving the first laces very loose then tight around my ankle. I like to support the design, but overall I decided to continue to wear me old beat up Asics with heavy wear over these brand new sneakers.
