I previously had a key box on the side of my garage door. Instructions were pretty good and easy to follow the illustrations did not match exactly but functions were the same as the new key pad. 25 minute installation and works great. Before installing I replaced the batteries that came with unit and put in new AAA Duracell. No wiring required.
