Looks great on a grave or as an ornament.

Caesar arrived today and in double quick time - only 2 days after purchase. It was extremely well packaged so don't worry about getting a damaged item. He is cast in tough, durable, off white resin. If I was going to complain and get picky, I would say that it's a pity that the staff he's holding is not exactly the same colour as the rest of the figure and looks like a green off white colour. Anatomically he is close to the original and, although the detailing could be very slightly better, overall I have no complaints. Except perhaps for the semi pointing finger. On the original Augustus of Prima Porta sculpture the finger is straight and on this figure it's slightly curved but I'll correct that. See; [...] Having said that, I am very happy with my purchase. I'm using him for a 1/6 scale model diorama and he will be perfect. For those that are artistically minded - I will be painting mine with an overall coat of buff or light cream. I'm using HUMBROL MATT 148 but the choice is yours. You MUST let this dry thoroughly for a few days or a week so the wash doesn't react with the base coat. After that I will give the figure a wash. That means thinned down paint of a mix of Burnt Sienna and Raw umber Oil paints. This will do a great job of highlighting all the detail, giving the figure an "antique" look and make the figure look very close to the sculpture shown above in Wiki. You can finish off with a little "dry brushing". If you've never done this process before then DO A TEST PIECE ON ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE FIGURE! If your buying this piece as a stand alone, unpainted figure then you should have no complaints. It really is well worth the money. My overall rating is 10/10.

La statua corrisponde in pieno a quella in foto. E' in resina dipinta color bronzo. Arriva con un imballaggio accurato, sagomato nel polistirolo. Considerato il prezzo è un ottimo affare.

Hatte zunächst Bedenken, dass die filigranen Finger der Hände unsauber verarbeitet wären, war aber angenehm überrascht, wie sauber und ordentlich alles verarbeitet ist.

Ottima qualità. Dettagli ricercati e ben curati. Ho dato fiducia per le ottime recensioni e devo dire che 5 stelle le vale tutte. Peccato ci siano solo pochi modelli e di piccole dimensioni.

ich habe glaube ich inzwischen 7 von diesen Statuen aus Marmorharz, mit einer davon werde ich bald eine Lampe machen. Übrigens, vor einem Jahr habe ich eine davon geschenkt, die Reaktion war so lieb, die Frau (ich bin Mann) hatte nur Augen für die Statue und war mit mir Begeistert.
