It's also nondescript--as I said it's basically a steel water bottle, so no one has to (or will) know that you're packing meds unless to choose to tell them. The included thermometer arrived broken, which appears to be the norm in several other reviews. I had read the reviews before purchasing and accepted that risk, so it wasn't so much a loss as it was a disappointment--but it would have been nice to have a functioning thermometer just to get a more accurate idea of the temps. But overall, this cooler functions perfectly, met me expectations and looks very nice as well so I'm not going to deduct a star for that.

This is exactly what it looks like--an insulated water bottle with a custom ice pack that leaves room for your refrigerated medication. I use it to carry vials of my injected meds, along with a few syringes, alcohol pads and gauze pads. Everything fits in nicely, and I've tested it's ability to hold temperature to more than 18 hours--everything remained cold to the touch. It's also nondescript--as I said it's basically a steel water bottle, so no one has to (or will) know that you're packing meds unless to choose to tell them. The included thermometer arrived broken, which appears to be the norm in several other reviews. I had read the reviews before purchasing and accepted that risk, so it wasn't so much a loss as it was a disappointment--but it would have been nice to have a functioning thermometer just to get a more accurate idea of the temps. But overall, this cooler functions perfectly, met me expectations and looks very nice as well so I'm not going to deduct a star for that.

This worked so wonderful for keeping my shots cold while flying. TSA didn't give me any trouble at all! I used the gel freezing tube and it kept it cold for many hours. I have not used the refillable water tube so I can't give feedback on that. The size was perfect as it fit in the water bottle pocket on my backpack. The weight is great and it held several syringes. Planning a 21 hour flight and needed something to keep my meds cold. After testing, I found the gell pack lasted about 24 hours, but if I just put ice in it the ice lasted over 40 hours. I think this will be perfect
