This worked perfectly for exactly 2 weeks. Completely, blissfully silent. I could choose the time setting. But then one day, I had to unplug it to move a cord. When I re-plugged it in, it turned into a monster. It now makes a grinding noise when it spins, and it never, ever stops spinning. The lights on the side blink in succession over and over. (see video) Super annoying. I'm pretty bummed because I really liked this a lot for the two weeks it worked correctly. UPDATE: After 48 hours of this behavior, it went back to working correctly.
