These are quite comfortable. They envelop the wrist quite nicely, and stay cold longer than I expected. It seems it's a sheet of gel, rather than goo, so it holds it's form nicely and doesn't get wrinkled in tough, lumpy positions after freezing.It gets very hot very quickly, so do be mindful. 30-45 seconds is a good range, but 45 seemed to be too hot. They don't stay warm as long as I'd hoped, but it is a VERY nice, soothing heat with the surrounding gel.They're not cumbersome at all, and also provide a slight compression. No annoying strap, they stay where they need to, and they're not in the way during usage.

This wrist sleeve fits well and comfortably, but the gel does lose cooling ability quickly.

Easy to use. Only stay cold for about 10 mins, wish it was longer. Still would recommend them for wrist relief

I've seen several reviews here rating it low because it doesn't stay cold long enough. I would say it stays cold as long as can be expected for this type of gel wrap. I have other wraps made of this same type of gel material that I've used for my knee and elbow, and it's true that in general they don't stay as cold for as long as other types of materials.BUT . . . for me, the ease of use and comfort of the gel wraps, as well as the combo of compression with heat/cold, makes up for that. With this type of wrap, I can just slip it on and go about my business; I don't have to sit down and use my hands to awkwardly hold it in place like a flat ice pack. When I needed some serious cold for my elbow, I bought a 2nd wrap and kept both of them in the freezer, so when the first one got too warm I could grab the 2nd one to continue the icing.I use this wrist wrap to counteract the pain and numbness from carpal tunnel syndrome. Turns out the research says applying heat is better/more healing for carpal tunnel than icing. This wrist wrap not only provides warmth, but unlike flat ice packs or gel packs, it applies compression at the same time. 2 therapies for the price of one! Sometimes I wear it all day long for the compression, just taking it off if I'm doing something that would get it wet or messy.When I want heat therapy, I pop the wrist wrap in the microwave for about 15 seconds (30 seconds makes it way too hot for me) and slip it on. When it cools off, back to the microwave it goes for a few more seconds - easy peasy!One thing I've found to make it as comfortable as possible: I have sensitive skin, and the seam on the inside can be a bit irritating. If I turn the wrap inside out, that irritation is gone. I'm retired, so I'm at home by myself a lot, with nobody to care if it looks weird with the seam on the outside. If I'm going out somewhere that other people will see it, I'll usually turn it right side out.When my carpal tunnel is really acting up and I want extra compression, another advantage of this wrap is that I can wear a compression glove under it. The warmed wrap over the compression glove provides even more relief.

I bought them to cool me down at work, but they warm up super fast. Might be better for just being still. My wrists don’t hurt at least!

I ordered this for use post surgery on my wrist. This was so convenient to ice or warm my wrist post tendon surgery, with no awkward wrapping. Very convenient and secure.

It does not stay cold for more than a few minutes - maybe you can get a good 5 min out of it. I tried leaving it in the freezer for a really long time, but it didn’t help. It would be great if it stayed cold though, as it is a nice fit and size so you could actually do things while icing your wrist.
