Good stuff

Don’t waste your money. Buy a better system We activated fall protection. Waited the 2 days for it to activate on the device and it does not work. I throw it down from a height of 5 foot into a laundry basket waited 120 seconds and nothing. I then stood on the bed and fell flat on my face and waited 3 minutes. again it did not activate. What good is this device if does not activate when they fall down. So if they become unconscious from the fall they are helpless and this device is useless. Only works if you can press the button. So playing $10 extra a month for fall protection is a scam just to get more money from the user.

It came and I was unable to sync it with their system. I was on the phone with them for more than two hours. It was decided that my unit was defective. Now I’m waiting for their replacement to arrive. This was stupid on my part. If I’d just returned it to Amazon I’d have it right now and have it set up for my mom. I hope the second unit is functioning properly so I don’t have to go through this again. If it’s anything like the first unit I’ll just find a different company to work with.

Size

This project has some pros and cons to consider. Pro It has a nice design that allows it to be worn around the next or clipped to clothing. Con The device's charging needs may prove to be an issue for us however. The battery needs to be changed every 4 to 5 days. That is our biggest concern is ensuring she that she remembers to charge it and then put it back on after charging. We would rather she wear it during the night since she gets up so often to toilet, so charging has to be done during the day. I don't live with her so having to call and prompt her and ensure she is wearing it and keeping it charged. It is lightweight. The size of a car key fob, but about the weight of two car fobs. The weight is a little much for around her neck. Clip on is a possibility, but then have to ensure it stays clipped to her pants throughout the day and toileting. Not perfect, but when she wears it it gives you a little more confidence she will be okay in the change that she falls

Bought this for my Mother In Law for Christmas...she fully charged it, did everything she was supposed to. She fell in the shower, tried to use it, it didn't work. I bought another one for my Mom, and it didn't charge her a monthly fee...I didn't realize this one is not cheap with the monthly fee.

This Medical Guardian Mobile 2.0 - Call to Activate - Wireless Medical Alert System was a great helper and it's something I always look at when it comes down to the elderly being an emergency. My mom's a couple of years away from 80 and I definitely enjoy the fact that I can have this be with her along with her other emergency devices but this overall is something that she can connect to the Wi-Fi and different other mobile apps so I appreciate this. It was easy to set up as well and she feels a lot better knowing she can push a button and have that help there just in case I'm out of town or doing something with the family that can't be there at the moment. So this is great to have and sufficiently wonderful. Thank you.

This is a very nice to have. This is a very nice to be able to feel a little relief when you leave an loved one at home that needs special care. This is easy to set up, you do have to get a monthly subscription to get all of the features, but it is worth it. Besides the call button you get GPS as well as 24/7 care. You can feel a little weight being lifted off of your shoulders. It is nice even if you are home. The necklace is lightweight and easy to put on and take off.
