The media could not be loaded.  Very nice definition and smooth ptz processing with all day recording via SD card or cloud. Like that I can snapshot or record sections. It says “Zoom “ which is pinch to Zoom. I figured I could zoom in but the pinch to zoom is pretty awesome as well.The video post shows a potential package thief the camera spotted and when they spotted the camera they took off.

When I ordered this it was just the MicroSD card which works great. It was easy to just plug into my security camera and my camera recognized it immediately. No issues at all.

So I bought this surveillance camera to put it outside near my driveway. The first time I installed it, all seems to be ok but the camera with the feature tracking motion on, the camera itself turn to one side and it did not come back to its set up position. Not only happened once, several time I had to go into the app and turn it to its set up position, otherwise it would have been recording the back of the house and not the driveway which it was bought for.Now that 4 months has passed, the camera can not turn to the right but it can turn in the other axis ( up, down and left). So as it cant turn right, I can not turn the tracking motion on ( which was the main reason I bought this camera since my old one was a fixed camera.**Edit:After receive a message from the seller (Panoraxy). The customer service at first, told me that it was a software issue, which it would be solved by an update through the app. But the software update did not come up after talking with customer service. After waiting few days since I told them the problem. I wrote a message again telling them that the camera would not turn on this time. They immediately told me that they would send me a new replacement for the issues experienced. Few days later, I received the camera at home. Excellent customer service!

I didn't think high speed mattered until I installed a really cheap SD card in my home surveillance camera. Oh sure, it still recorded but watching those recordings was painful with all the jerking and slow motion if the target subject moved too fast. It was like watching a very poor-quality cartoon. A word to the wise, speed (read/write) matters even in a discount camera. Pay that little extra money to get a quality, fast, SD card or you will be sorry. With the Panoraxy SD, recordings were high quality, and I could actually read license plate numbers on cars driving up my driveway.

Lock was easy to install. However the motion detection (set to high) doesn't always send an alert to phone.. it will also record my cat and next thing you know, the cat will be gone and the camera didn't pick it up. Finally I can't always connect to the stream or playback. It will say encrypting and the. The percentage slowly goes up and then the play button icon pops back up. I then usually have to wait several minutes and then it will finally reconnect. I have two different cameras that use the same app and the other one works perfect

For what you get this seems to be a good value for a budget camera. Installed easily and connected to home network with no problems. The manual is helpful but is a classic example of literal English translation from another language. Although better than most translation-wise there are still some lines that leave you scratching your head.I am hesitant to add random Wi-Fi devices to my home network due to security concerns but it is not convenient to run ethernet cable out to where this camera is used. I created a guest network without intranet access for this application... counting on that to be a little more secure. So far, so good! The app does allow you to add/set up ONVIF so I assume in theory this camera could be integrated into my security system running Blue Iris. I may experiment with this feature in the future but again network security is an issue.An SD card will be added for storage as paying for no-name cloud storage, for me at least, brings more security and privacy issues. This camera is being used to monitor my chickens and geese so security is not a massive deal, but something to think about none the less.All of the basic controls seem to work well and the video quality is adequate. The only real gripe so far is the "PTZ". Yes, it does rotate and tilt, but the zoom as far as I can tell only consists of spread/pinch on video view in app. Sure, you are zooming in on the image but not really optically zooming in with the lens of the camera.Overall this camera fills my needs for it's application: letting me check in on my birds when I am not at home. If you are expecting the basics on a budget this unit should work for you. If high-end features, true zooming, robust build quality or the expectation of this unit to be the backbone of a secure camera system are what you need, keep looking!
