I wanted to improve my plants appearance and growth, and had been having some success with liquid fertiliser. I was toying with adding CO2 but didn't want the extra equipment, and having plenty of fish was worried about overdosing and generally upsetting the balance in the tank.When I came across these root tabs, I thought I'd give it a go and see what happens. Very pleased with the result. Its only been a couple of weeks since I tried these and the plants look a lot stronger and much more vibrant, and I'd say at least an inch of new growth.The instruction on the pack was to crush a tab and put into the substrate by the root - well I couldn't see how to do this, so broke the tabs in two with my fingers as I put them into the gravel. Not sure how one could put a crushed tab into gravel underwater, but my broken pieces seem to be doing the job.There are 10 tabs in the pack, with instructions for regular dosing. Having about 10 plants in my tank, I just put 6 broken tabs strategically around the planted areas, and will put in the other 4 in a few weeks (this is less than the suggested dosing for the size of my 250l aquarium).I am very pleased with the results and will get this product again, although I don't see myself dosing as frequently as the packet suggests (its still cheaper and more satisfying than getting new plants anyway) and coupled with liquid fertiliser I hope to just add these tabs every 6 months or so.If, like I was, you are wondering if it is worth the money to get these root tabs, I would say definitely

Seemed to work fine. Wouldn't use if you have Shrimp though, contains Copper.
