Fusion Cool 2255 is an excellent product
I keep the diluted Fusion Cool 2255 product in a spray bottle and use it with all my milling, turning and drilling operations. It enhances cutting action and keeps everything cool. It seems much more effective and a lot less messy than the oil based products I used previously.

This novice likes it
Time to fess up - I'm new to CNC and have done hardwoods, plywood, MDF and acrylic materials so far. I want to do some metal work but haven't taken the plunge yet - but I'm getting prepared having ordered some metal, appropriate bits, and this cooling liquid. So this review is based on the observations of a complete novice in this area. That said, I will say that I was reassured by the product page chart that this is suitable for aluminum and copper (the label says ferrous metals). I also like that it can be diluted quite a bit and still be effective. The liquid doesn't feel oily to the touch at all (I saw after I did this that it's not good to get it on your skin - I washed up right away - did I mention I was new to this?) I have wondered if it would be a disaster to get some of this on my waste board so I put some on some scrap wood just to see it I saw a lot of staining etc. Looks to me like (even undiluted) it wouldn't be any worse than getting plain old water on the waste board. The jug is sealed with a child proof top which could be important to some potential buyers. It will be a while before I truly put this to the test (and even then I'll still be looking though novice eyes), but will update this review should I discover something unexpected. Even at my skill or lack of skill level, I looked around and this appears to be a good value given the quantity for the price. Good for cutting ferrous materials.
My husband is a machinist with an at home shop. His machinery includes bandsaws, grinders, milling machines and a couple of lathes. He machines replacement parts for vintage tractors as well as vintage boats and heavy equipment. He makes replacement parts for his own equipment too. He also builds much of his own storage shelving out of steel bed frames. Most of the time he's cutting brass and some stainless steel. He said that the ferrous metal isn't something that he cuts on a daily basis so he actually uses a small misting bottle to dilute it for use on an as needed basis. He was pretty happy to find this cutting oil and will put it to good use. It will help to protect the cutting edge of his tools and used the way that he uses it would last a long time! Thanks a bunch.

Have been using water as a coolant but will switch to Fusion cool when machining non-stainless.
This review is for Mist Coolant for Metal Cutting Applications | Fusion Cool 2255, $47 on Amazon I have a hobby size lathe and milling machine and have used water as a coolant along with my small ejector type coolant sprayer. I will change to using this Fusion Cool non-corrosive liquid whenever Iโm machining non-stainless ferrous materials. Given the $47 cost Iโm hoping I can retrieve as much of this Fusion cool liquid as possible, filter it through a drip coffee filter, and then reuse. Iโll revise this review if, after using Fusion Cool, I learn anything work reporting.

Works as expected.
I got the Fusion "Mist Coolant for Metal Cutting" to use with my drill press and CNC Router. So far I've only gotten to use it with my drill press but it worked great. I did notice when I got the bottle it shipped with tape around and sealing the lid. Glade they did that because it arrived in big box with little packing. I can't wait to try it on my CNC.

When I left off the wood carving in favor of making some precision parts in aluminum, I was hoping that a mist buster would suffice. The Fusion Cool 2255 is the answer for smaller shops and hobbyist that don't want to drop $700 on a 45Gal barrel. Mixes easily. Works just like it should. My rig is not optimal for recovery, but I am gradually making progress. One thing for sure, distilled water is advised, and keep recovery tank sealed. Proper labelling of mixed coolant containers is absolutely obligatory. Date, used or not. Keep it away from dogs and children. I would be happier if it was milky when mixed just to prevent confusion. Go make some chips everybody :)
