CPL Filter for Phone

The filter holder is sturdy and well made and comes in a high quality zip-up rigid case with custom foam cut out to hold the accessory securely. The case has an attractive faux carbon fibre finish. The filter holder has a strong spring clip which holds it securely to my iPhone 12 Pro. The 52mm filter is large enough to cover all three lenses and the exposure meter (so exposure is spot on). It might look a bit large when in place but the iPhones lenses have a very wide field of view and so this size is necessary to ensure that the filter’s frame does not clip the edges of pictures. The filter is multi-coated to eliminate glare and reflections and keep photos/videos punchy. It has a strong polarising effect which reduces reflections on the surface of glossy subjects (see pics) it darkens blue skies and green leaves and eliminates water glare effectively. Overall this is a quality product and well worth the price. Highly recommended.

This filter is supposed to reduce glare on your photos but the difference is so subtle it isn't worth the hassle of using, the quality of the build is good though, and it fits my phone fine.

I bought this to reduce glare on my photos but it actually made it worse so had to return it, the return was easy so no complaints there.

I ordered this polarizing filter for my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, and I must say I am quite impressed with its build and performance. The filter is well-made and feels sturdy. The circular polarizer does an excellent job of reducing reflections and glares in my photos, giving me much better colour saturation and contrast. I particularly appreciate the smooth rotation of the aluminium ring, which allows me to adjust the polarization easily and quickly. I do need to adjust the lens position depending on the zoom I am using, but this is a minor inconvenience, and it is easy to do. The lens clamp holds the filter securely in place, which is essential when using it on a mobile phone. The only downside is that the clamp covers a small part of the screen, but this does not affect the performance of the filter at all. The kit comes with a carrying case and a cleaning cloth, which is a nice touch. The case is sturdy and protects the filter from damage when not in use, while the cloth is perfect for keeping it clean and free from fingerprints. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase, and I would highly recommend this CPL filter to anyone who wants to take better photos with their mobile phone. It is an excellent investment that will make a noticeable difference in the quality of your photos.

This comes is a semi-rigid, faux carbon-fibre looking case to keep it safe, which is really handy. As well as the lens and case, you also get a handy cleaning cloth. The lens simply clips over the camera on the rear of your phone, I tried it with my daughters iPhone 12 Pro Max and my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and it was large enough to cover the lenses on both of those. My only concern is that the other side of the clip sits on the front face of your phone. It isn’t exerting a huge amount of pressure, but I wonder what the impact is with long-term use. The main use of this lens is to cut down on reflections from things like water, glass and similar reflective surfaces and it does do a decent enough job for what it is. You do need to play around a little with it in terms of rotating it to get the best results. Obviously, that is limited, since it needs to cover the lens and still clip on. At £25.99 it is not cheap, but the lens is real glass and having had quite a few products from Neewer, they tend to be good quality. I wasn't convinced about using a cpl on a mobile at first, so decided to try this kit out from Neewer. Firstly it fits over most phone cameras fine as it's quite oversized so the lens with clip over phones with a multi lens setup ok. The cpl rotates with a good balance of free movement and stiffness to ensure it doesn't slip during shooting. I tested the cpl in a couple of senarios - firstly to reduce glare off a shiny floor and once rotated into the correct position the glare disappeared entirely, great for indoor shooting. Next I took my phone to the river to try and shoot the water, again, the cpl when correctly aligned removed the reflection and I could see into the water perfectly. Finally I tried shooting through a window and used the cpl to reduce the reflection - not such great success here Vs the other tests, but it did work to a certain extent, plus it was a very sunny day, would work better on a more overcast day I'm sure. So for the price this is actually a very useful tool to improve your mobile photography and get results close to dslr or mirrorless filter systems.

A decent lens, that clips on easily. Even comes with wipes and a nice case. But if I'm honest, I didn't notice much difference in picture quality....if I'm honest it was actually worse with the lense.

This polarising lens comes with a protective case , it clips onto your phone and has nice soft pads so it won’t damage it. In use you twist the lens to the desired position that is affective for the shot. If you look at my images , the one without the filter shows the reflection of the clock in the base of the monitor stand it’s sitting on, With the filter , the reflection is gone. I rather like the reflection , but you get the point , this will make shots less reflective if you need that. Just under 27 pounds does feel expensive , but it is a lens and they can cost a lot , more importantly , it works.
