Review update We tested again this weekend. We left the stone on the oven for almost 1h prior to use it. It works great. ———- A little disappointed. The song is not the thickest in the market, but still provide good heat. The pizza got stuck on the stone twice, not really sure why.

Product photos show a woman and girls on their kitchen duty, a man standing over to instruct the woman how to properly clean the stone. Left a bad taste in my mouth before even baking with the stone so decided to drop a note and buy something else.

I have used many pizza stones, but never have I had such a huge problem with food sticking to them. Also the smell of the pan whenever i preheat the oven is awful. I started using corn meal as suggested, but that needed to be spread completely and it made the pizza have a funny taste, and any spot that was not covered by the corn meal would be stuck to the stone. what's even worse was the stuck food was impossible to scrape off. I kept giving it time and different methods thinking it would eventually work like all my others, but it never got better. I only wish that I paid attention to the return date, or I would have returned it before it expired. It is a shame, because it was a nice size and was sturdy.

I mean, this is a pizza stone; correct?

Yes, it gives great crust, however, when you get cheese on it, even if you try to wash it off, this thing and the other thicker version of the same material, stink like melting plastic. I have had two of these made from the same material, same stink. Tried the thinner version hoping for a change. Nope. The next step is a cast iron pizza stone, er, iron.

I been looking for something like this and couldn’t find one I liked. Then I came across this. Perfect and the price was amazing too. Already used it and I love how my pizza came out.

Really like the way this stone creates a crispy pizza crust in 8-10 minutes! Would love to have a molded handle one side to make it easier to get ahold of the stone.
