Great Flavor
Great mala flavor and nice noodles. I didn't find them spicy, but it takes a lot for me to find much of anything spicy. My partner with a lower heat tolerance loves them too, probably even more than me! It hits the same sort of flavor profile as hot pot so it's perfect when you're craving some, but don't want to do the whole spread. It is a bit like a lot of hot pot soup bases in that it's salty and has a high oil/fat content so be aware of that being the case with this sort of product and most of this style of hot pot bases (especially tallow ones, but this is vegetable oil based). I don't think it would be terrible if you did half a base or watered it down, but I find one pack is enough for four or more servings for us. It'd be an excellent side too. One last note- the noodles are on the softer side so watch them closely if you're not into soft noodles. They're great either way, but I'm an undercooked noodle lover and less cooking was the way to go for me.

Tasty, spicy, but high in sodium
These instant noodles from Hotpot Queen are a miss for me. They need to have the ingredients listed for those of us who need to watch their sodium intake. It's A LOT of sodium. over 2,300 mg's of it! I love tingling, spicy, robust flavors and that is here in abundance. I made this dish, took a few bites to taste and then passed the rest to a friend to finish (one with no dietary restrictions) They liked the flavor, but were not a fan of the oilier texture. This is most likely because we are not familiar with this noodle dish and the kind of oily texture associated with it. For newbies like us, it's a pass. Those of you familiar with this dish, will most likely have a different take-away.

Best noodles ever!!!
My friend brought me these from a good show. I'm in love! These are the best noodles I've ever had! My family loves noodles. We do a noodle night every week. The noodles in this pack are my favorite. This package is enough for 4. We add meat, veggies & egg. The sauce is great, maybe on the spicy side. But a jar of her mushroom sauce too. Omg. So good.

Authentic flavor that hits the spot!
Ever since we left Chongqing a few years ago we have been on the hunt for an authentic bowl of Chongqing noodle but with no success. Thank God one of our friend told us about this Hotpot Queen Spicy Hotpot Thick Cut Noodles on Amazon. First slurp this instant goodness already brought us back home to the land of spiciness. Rich flavor of the sauce plus the firm texture of the noodle is just how they do it back home! Definitely will be getting more of this yummy stuff!

Very flavorful, but too oily
We love spicy noodles, so I was excited to try this product. It is indeed nice & spicey! However when cooked according to the instructions the sauce & dry vegetables & seasoning pack didn’t rehydrate completely . I kept finding hard pieces while eating. I should’ve tasted before adding the pasta so I could’ve possibly put into the microwave to soften it. The pasta cooked perfectly. I have to say that there is a LOT of oil in this product ( hence the high calorie and fat). If I were to make it again I would probably leave out the seasoning with the oil in it. I’m not a big fan of having my mount coated with oil. I don’t think I would order this again unless the oil content was removed.

Deliciously spicy but heavy in sodium and fat
This spicy noodle hotpot is deliciously spicy and what I would expect from an authentic Sichuan hotpot. It is quick and easy to prepare. Simply mix the hotpot sauce and the dry seasoning packets in a bowl of boiling water while cooking the noodles in another pot. Then add the noodles to the broth along with garnishes if desired. The broth has a rich, savory flavor with a real spicy kick to it. It is really hot, and has that numbing sensation from Sichuan peppercorns. The noodles are thick, wide and chewy. It is delicious but I wouldn't eat it often because of the heavy sodium and fat contents. Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the flavor and texture of this spicy noodle hotpot. It makes a quick & easy, delicious meal. However, it is super heavy on sodium (more than the recommended daily value) and high in saturated fat. It is okay to eat once in a while, and I think I will. Anyway, it would say give it a try if you are craving for a Sichuan hotpot, or just like spicy noodles in general. Good stuff.

OMG These Are Good!!
I can see how some people might think they’re too spicy but I thought they were amazing! Spicy but also really tasty. I was dipping bread in the soup after finishing the noodles just to get every last bit of goodness!

Hotpot Queen Spicy Hotpot Thick Cut Noodle Sichuan Dish 10.3 oz.
A product of China this two-pack of Sichuan Hot Pot flavor thick cut noodle dish with a packet of spicy numbing black pepper sauce and one dry seasoning packet. There are 2 servings in each 10.3 ounce carton. The wheat noodles are wide and hearty but also light not heavy. The flavor is spicy, complex and satisfying with a medium to high heat level but primarily the numbing of the Sichuan black peppercorns have the most noticeable effect. Cooking is easy—empty the sauce and seasoning packet into a large bowl and add 1 cup boiling water. Cook the noodles for 4 minutes in a saucepan of boiling water, drain and add to the bowl with the seasonings, stir and eat. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in June 2023 the Best By date is 4 months in the future but dates will vary. A quick and delicious meal.
