In practice, this thermometer is very tricky to use, especially to switch between modes and measure the temperature of a liquid, say - very frustrating process that I have not been able to figure out. Also, discovered that reading forehead temp is not overly accurate. Ended up buying another thermometer that goes under baby's arm as this is also how it's measured in hospital so allowed us to compare.
