My 9 year old enjoys using for basketball.
My son loves using this as he practices his basketball. It's lightweight and a bit flimsy. I feel it's overpriced. It was easy to assemble.

Cheap materials and low quality
I am using this for my kids basketball practice. I think the build on this defender is low quality, here is what I see:The base/frame has plastic connections and I found it impossible to tighten the adjusting screws tight enough to hold the fold out base in position, I had to put a pliers on it to get it tight enough and was worried it would break. My kids couldn't even get it close to tight enough either. The base itself is too narrow for the height of the defender and it easily blows over, we have to put a weight bag on it to hold it up and the base is not strong enough to hold the weight, we have to be very careful that most of the weight is on the ground and the webbing is what is really holding the base down. There are small stakes included if you use it on grass but not for a basketball court. After you remove it from the box if you want to store it, there is no included bag, it is just a pile of parts (4 pieces) to roll around and get lost. I would expect for the price of this defender there would at least be a travel/storage bag.I compare the base to a light stand that I use in my photography business and this one is of poorer quality than the cheapest ($15) one that I own, it would cost virtually nothing to have an all in one stand with a wider base and stronger connections. The dummy itself is fine, you need to use velcro pieces to secure to the stand which is pretty easy. Even with the material being mesh, a very light wind will still blow it over.I was not impressed with this at all and for the cost it should be much better.

Blows or Falls Over
Went together easily and is adjustable for my grandkids. And although it seemed like a really good idea, the thing is constantly falling over. It was more of a hassle to keep setting it up than to just practice without it. Not Recommended

Easy to assemble, needs weights in the bottom
Ordered this dummy to use on our soccer training field, but even more so to use on the basketball court. My 8 year old is really into basketball, and has a hoop at home to practice on. He likes playing games like 21 with me, but I am 6'3" and it is hard to give him a defensive look when he is giving up 2 feet to me. So I set this dummy up in the lane (and can even angle it toward one side or the other) and at height that is closer to kids his age. Now he can work on picking up his dribble and driving around it to one side or the other, or pulling up and shooting over it. With the adjustable height, I could even adjust the dummy to use for my own training. The one downside is that it falls over easily, especially in a breeze. There are included stakes for a field, but for an outdoor court you need your own weights. I used a water bag that I have for my pop up and it did the trick.

Easy to assemble, needs weighted down if windy
This defender is great for my son when he practices basketball. It is very easy to assemble and very lightweight. It will easily blow over even with a light breeze, so I do suggest putting some weight on the bottom.

Flimsy construction
I am not impressed with this blocker. I got it to put in front of my son's lacrosse net, hoping to help him shoot for the corners. It was easy enough to put together, but it is ridiculously flimsy in every way.The base is really narrow which makes it hard to stand up. Even though the material is mesh, the blocker is still too top heavy to stand up securely, even when staked into the ground. The breeze from the ball going by the blocker knocks it off balance. The tripod that it's mounted on is not sturdy enough to take a hit, no matter where you hit on the blocker, it falls over. Lastly, this is not a great blocker for a sport like lacrosse where the ball can also come in low. This blocker's only position is hands up-so maybe good for basketball?
