I have short, fine hair, and the TYMO Rovy Compact Waver works amazingly well! It creates beautiful waves that hold all day, which is rare for my hair type. It's super simple to use, lightweight, and heats up quickly. I wish I had bought it sooner—it's an absolute game-changer! If you're on the fence, I can't recommend it enough!

Easy to use and done right creates amazing results. They get really hot so play with the settings before using to get a feel for it. My daughter absolutely loves it. We got her one in each size.

I really like it! I think the quality is great. Some have mentioned the smell that it puts on your hair. It is a typical hot tool on the hair smell. Nothing out of the normal. I really like the curling ability and the waves it makes. I also liked that they had an option to choose what size you wanted the waves to be before you order it. I get compliments on my hair every time I use it. I also like that it beeps when you hold it down and when it’s time to let up. I’m not 100% sure but I’m pretty positive I noticed that you can turn the beeping off if you don’t want the sound and I believe you can choose the beep intervals. More sure about there being a way for you to turn off the beeping if you don’t want it, but I like that feature and the length of time it is set for. So I don’t mess with that too much.

I bought the 1.25 inch waver. My hair touches the top of my shoulders. I wish that I would have gotten the 1 inch or the compact one, but it still did a great job. I am still practicing with it. I do think I need to get stronger in my arms because my arm did hurt holding the waver up for so long doing all of my hair!! But the results were great, so the pain was worth it!! I will definitely be getting a smaller size but I will keep this one too. The quality is wonderful and I love the color!

This review is so hard to make because I clearly used the product and it came out SO GORGEOUS! I was in love and obsessed. The issue came a couple days after when I went to wash my hair and for the next couple of weeks after SEVERAL washes (and I mean like multiple shampoos and conditions in multiple shower sessions), my hair still had this awful, potent burnt smell. Even my husband couldn't stand it. I believe at this point as well that it has ruined the natural curl pattern in my hair. It now dries straight instead of slightly wavy and even a little curl! I used a heat protectant and hair oil (like I always do), and followed the instructions/tutorials. I've never had a new hair tool do this much damage to my hair and make it smell that bad. Super disappointed. It was so hard to return. I was really debating keeping it, but the smell and damage it did to my natural hair outweighed trying it again. I hope this helps someone else!

My hair doesn't hold a curling iron but it holds my waves!! Very easy to use!! It's so fast & beeps after the seconds you choose. The pink color is fun!. I've played around with all settings to find what works good for my hair. It Has a little smell but I'm not bothered by it. It steams but that's normal & it's not hurting my long hair! Great gift idea, & worth the money. (Make sure you find a good heat protectant to spray In too!)

Full disclosure, I have naturally curly hair so I am not well versed in using curling irons (since my life has consisted of mostly flat irons instead). However my wedding was coming up and I decided to get hair extensions. My real hair is much shorter than the long extensions I was getting for the wedding, so in order for it to blend properly, it needed to be curled. That quickly became an ordeal for me, since there was so much hair to curl and I was getting it tangled in my curling iron since I really didn't know what I was doing.This waver saved my life though! I found it way easier to use, and it was so much faster for me to add waves to my hair in the mornings before work. Love the timing feature (just make sure you completely close it when curling your sections, otherwise the timer won't start and you can risk burning your hair if you are not paying attention) and I also loved the temp settings since you have to be very careful not to put too high of heat on hair extensions. The timer is actually synchronized with the temp so if you change the temp, it automatically changes the seconds on the timer, kind of a neat feature. Yes, its "big" but I didn't find it over bearing or heavy or anything. The waves come out pretty and kinda effortlessly. This is my new best friend.
