(Uberschall) I love good cleans, so I'd rather get a good clean amp with a good distortion peddal** A: It has a very nice clean and takes pedals very nicely IMO. There are plenty of online video reviews for you to check out. I am usually using the .1W setting FWIW. Couldn't' be happier with the Laney Cub! **Q: Does this head have also speaker or it plays with external speaker only?** A: This model is amp head only,...no speaker. You will need a proper instrument/guitar speaker to use. Make sure you switch to the right impedance according to what the speaker requires **Q: Is the reverb spring? If not how is the reverb made?** A: The reverb is not generated by an actual spring. It is a digital chip. To my ear it sounds like a hall or room reverb and it's pretty good up to about 2 or 3 on the dial, then it starts to sound muddy an detracts from the really nice tone of the amp itself. If you are looking at mini heads, you'll love this is you like the Vox type of tone. If you are more into the Fender tone, then I'd look at the Peavey Classic 20 MH. The Peavey has a digital spring reverb. **Q: It seems that the head does not come with a footswitch. Does Laney make a footswitch for this pedal?
