I've had experience where at a photoshoot, my tether would be knocked loose accidentally, whether it be by myself, the model, or the client. It took time off our schedule to reconnect and make sure the tether app is functioning correctly. After a recent photoshoot, the usb c cord was knocked out of my camera pretty roughly and I was looking for a solution to help try and keep the camera usb port a little more protected. Found this little thing that I attach to my gfx 100s, but will also work with a camera cage, cineback rig, etc. Super simple concept that should be built into other rigs but this does the job perfectly. Its solidly built, and so inexpensive for what it is able to protect. Its super small and I thought there would be issues not being able to put my camera on the ground, but there is another screen underneath to attach another leg mount or attach it to a tripod. It holds the cord pretty securely with very little give, i have included a video so you can see. Highly recommend!

Love these. Exactly what I expected - decent tether lock, so-so Arca Swiss plate. But super cheap and as a result I've bought 2-3 and have them in every camera case, and one attached to the underside of my Swift Bklyn plate.

While I love it, in its horizontal position it does not fit the tether tools cable because of its thickness. So if you utilize pretty much any other cable, that is not advertised as thin, it should fit without any problem! make sure to see the sizes in the image and measure your cable's thickness. The screw is easy to tighten and loosen, but you will need to spin it quite a few times, so if you are looking for something that needs to come off and on fast, it might not be the best fit.

I suppose it will serve a purpose, but not what I expected. Somewhat disappointing.

Good things come in small packages perfectly describes this little camera cable lock. It holds Tether cable firmly under the base of your camera insuring the cable isn't ripped out of your USB connection or breaks your USB port due to snagging your cable or someone tripping on your cable. Great product.

Its small, but does not serve the job well. It doesen’t secure the cable well. I ended up taking it off and not bothering with it at all. Id skip this item and go for a proper plate that secures the cable in place.

撮影時の接続不良などに悩まされたりケーブルによる集中の妨げが防げて撮影に集中ができてかなり安定しました。 ケーブルを本体からクイックに外せるような仕様にもし出来るならもう言う事なしだと思います。 カメラへ固定する際の回す部分が工具を使用する必要がないのも良い部分でした。 とにかくこの価格でこの安心感を買えるなら即買いで買ってよかったアイテムの一つです。

The cable won’t completely fit into this and attach to the camera. I can just get one side of the tether tools cable to fit and the screw mount into the camera

Die Kabelklemme ist hochwertig verarbeitet, recht klein und es ist ziemlich fummelig sie mitsamt Kabel an der Kamera zu befestigen. Die Schraube wirkt etwas zu kurz. Weniger für größere Kameras geeignet. Ich habe die Klemme aus Mangel an Alternativen trotzdem behalten.

Erfüllt seinen Zweck. Achtung HDMI Kabel darf nicht sehr stark sein. In meinem Foto ( Alvin's Cables 8K 2.1 Full HDMI Geflochtenes Spiralkabel für Atomos Ninja-V 4K-60P Record von Z-CAM für Canon-C70, für Sony A7S3| A9| A74 ) passt ganz knapp. Einen 5kg Kamerabrocken würde ich auch nicht oben anschrauben und schwenken..
