Yes this is just what I needed to travel on vacation

The unit heats up quickly and gets chunks of wood and wood chips smoking very quickly. The basket that the wood and chip get heated in is very flimsy. The metal lip which is used to pick up the heating basket is constructed of is very low gauge steel and bends under the weight of a few ounces of wood. Over all, I make it work by picking it up at a non-intended point. Price is cheap so to me it was worth buying.

This product failed far too quickly. It stopped working after only about 20 uses, despite being purchased just a few months ago in December. While the concept is excellent, the materials and construction are clearly low-quality, making it a poor value.
