This is a great product that I’ve used on many people with different hair types and textures, and the results really come down to personal preference and individual hair needs—especially hair’s porosity level. When it comes to hair care, not every product works the same for everyone. Your hair will either love it or hate it, and that’s completely normal. For us, this product worked extremely well. We are in the type 3A to 4A curl range, and it provided noticeable hydration, helped eliminate frizz, and left curls feeling soft, defined, and more manageable. It works well as both a conditioning treatment and a cream to comb, which makes it very versatile depending on styling preferences. The slip is good, making detangling easier, and it doesn’t leave the hair feeling heavy or greasy when used properly. Because porosity plays such a big role in how hair absorbs and retains moisture, results may vary from person to person. What works beautifully on one head of hair may not perform the same on another, and that doesn’t reflect the quality of the product—it’s simply how hair behaves. Overall, this product worked great for us, and we truly love it. I purchased this SKALA Mais Crespos treatment specifically for my teenage daughter who has type 3c hair, and it’s become another winner in our household. Just like with the other SKALA products we’ve tried, the first thing that hits you is the amazing smell - it’s absolutely gorgeous and pleasant without being overwhelming. This 2-in-1 conditioning treatment and cream works exceptionally well as a deep conditioner for her hair type. It’s specifically formulated for 4ABC hair, but works well with all curls. You can really tell the difference in how it performs compared to products that claim to work for “all hair types.” It defines her curls beautifully and provides the deep moisture that type 4 hair desperately needs. What I love most about this product is how it leaves her hair feeling - soft and moisturized without any of that crunchy, stiff texture you sometimes get with heavy treatments. It’s perfect for her tight curl texture, and she’s noticed significant improvement in frizz control since we started using it. Unlike some deep conditioners that can build up in the hair over time, this one seems to rinse clean while still providing lasting benefits. Amazing product! My curls are defined and are shiny! The product smells amazingly and lasts a long time. This product works for my hair (4b) and my girls' hair (3a &3c) as well! Will buy again!

I was extremely skeptical because I have type for hair, not type 4C or 4B it’s a little bit of a mix of those two. It’s not just one type so it’s really hard to find products but this works pretty good and my hair feels healthy and it’s super soft. I was actually able to departed and detangle it and under five minutes. It’s super short right now cause I just did a big chop because I couldn’t find the right products to detangle it. I didn’t even have to part it with a pick I was just using my fingers and I was able to run my fingers through my hair for the first time in over 13 years without having it to be straight or blow dry. The product itself smells really good. It doesn’t really define my curls but it might with somebody else, but I really don’t care about curl definition. I just wanted to be able to detangler my hair and style it without having to spend three hours, just trying to brush it out. 🥺 10/10 and I have maybe hair that’s roughly to the back of my neck and I used was maybe 2 tablespoons of the hair moisturizer and my hair is still moisturized and the jar is huge and still filled to the top pretty much, which is amazing because usually products aren’t this cheap and effective. I would highly recommend if you have type 4 low porosity hair. My scalp is very sensitive to products so I’ll wait and update this later on if I get really bad buildup.

Just received treatment cream & leave in conditioner so I haven't tried it yet. However, it smells really good and I'm hoping that it will be a good cream and conditioner for my hair, that being said I will come back with a new review of the product. It deserves stars for the smell alone! 😊

I have ordered this product multiple times. It is fantastic, works and smells better than a more expensive brand I was using. Perfect for 3C/4A hair . Can be used as conditioner and leave in conditioner. Defines curls and doesn’t feel sticky. Mix in a few drops of oil for softer curls.

For my hair texture it was alright, i am on the looser curl side with thick or fine hair idk. Idk my porosity either but it dried mine out so if ur hair dries out i dont recommend. Its also not like my aunties actual skala so idkkk about thisss

I watched videos of coily hair girls using this product and decided to give it a try. It is absolutely amazing. We wash, condition put in skala and coat with jojoba oil and the curly coild stay hydrated all day. Ive tried so many products but this one has worked beautifully. And it works great as a cowash, but mostly we use it as a leave in. Love the amount that you get for the price its a deal. I highly recommend this product for coily girls.

Es excelente producto para mantener el cabello sin frizz todo el día y principalmente para cabellos rebeldes. Sin embargo, la consistencia es súper pesada y se enreda mucho el cabello si lo dejas sin lavar un día como es mi costumbre, lo cual te obliga a lavarlo diario. Es un excelente producto pero en mi caso, se me hizo muy pesado.
