Decent looking cap for every day use and cooling in the heat.

A reasonably well made cap, but not worth £20. There is no difference between this and other lightweight polyester caps, there's just an extra layer of fabric at the front (to hold more water I guess). You're paying extra for the decal inside that reminds you you can wet a cap. This decal is peeling away after one week's use, leaving bits of blue stuff on my head. The picture fails to show that the outer logo is a very bright green. The fastener is hook and loop (velcro) and the loop half is already starting to fray, which will mean attempting to sew a new bit of velcro on before long. Can't give more than 2 stars because the whole point is the cooling, and this cap has no cooling ability that other wet caps don't have. You win this one, marketers!

Easy to adjust to head size and once dipped in cool water it keeps your head cool. Definitely helps in hot climates. Love it.

After wetting and wearing in the sun my head felt cooler. Would I also feel cooler if I took my underpants off, wet them and wore them in my head? I'm not sure. If I'm honest I probably won't try that as they have a hole in.

It didn't occur to me me when buying this that having fairly thick hair means that my hair acts as an insulator between my head and the hat so I had to soak my hair for it to work. I imagine it would work ok with thin or no hair. I read somewhere that it keeps you cool for two hours, it dried a lot quicker than that for me, when it wasn't particularly hot, but it was quite windy.

Bought for an elderlyFriend , he has to be extra careful in the sun as has cancer, so this is ideal, UVA protection, lightweight and adjustable.
