Gate DIP Instructions- Works Great!
This remote is one of the best purchases on Amazon. Works amazing. Once I figured out programming the DIP for gate.(You can only program one DIP)I purchased the two button remote open the gate to our neighborhood, second button for garage door.Garage door programming went fine, as described in the instructions. The DIP instructions for my gate code or not correct. Here is how to do it correctly. On your new remote press the learn button until the light turns blue pointed at your gate then press as many times as needed until the gate opens. Then press the learn code button again.

Works great for Chamberlain & LiftMaster
Works great however the instructions are not exactly right for some Chamberlain products! For DIP, set the DIP in the remote, go through the section to program which button is to be used, THEN stand under the door opener and click slowly until the door goes up....END programming at that point and you should be good! For 2011 to current units, again go through the section to program which button is to be used, THEN stand under the door opener and click slowly until you hear 2 clicks from the opener....END programming! The chart was off a few clicks for the doors I programmed however I did get them to work by doing this process from above!

Product would not work
After going through the complicated programing proceedure several times product would still do nothing. No way to get any help with it. Called Amazon support but they know nothing about the product and were no help. They are sending me another, but I suspect it also may not work. Perhaps, I am doing something wrong, but have no support to tell me what. With the replacement, I was also contacted by the seller who provided setup instructions different than what was in the box. That made it work, but still somewhat flakey and of poor quality. Seller help was most appreciated. I would rate the product a 1 and the support a 4.

THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE WRONG-THE LED LIGHT DOES NOT TURN BLUE
It was so frustrating to get this remote and not have it work when the instructions seemed very simple. I finally ended up emailing the company and it turns out their instructions were printed wrong, once I had the right instructions it was very easy to program and have work.If your instructions for going into pairing mode say "hold program button till led turns blue" don't believe it. You press it and then when the LED light turns red and stays red it's in pairing mode. Do that, press the button on the instructions corresponding to your garage door model, push the learning button on your garage door motor, then it's all good.

Worked on my 15+ year old GeniePro Stealth garage door opener
I have a Genie garage door opener that was made in 2005 (I know, it's old), and was quite happy that this worked with it even though it specifically said Chamberlain in the title. If you look at the manual, this actually supports 9 different types of openers dating back to 1993. Installation was a breeze and is secured by 2 enclosed screws, powered by a single 9v battery. After entering programming mode, you simply had to press the learning button on the opener and the garage door opener picked it right up (you do need to press # after your pin since there is no dedicated open button on this remote).I like this slide-up cover design because the cover would not break on a hinge. The one that flips upwards has a hinge that could potentially break, which was what happened on my last keypad remote. The cover was a bit tight when you first put it on, although a few drops of oil on the cover rails should quickly get that taken care of.

Works with my Chamberlain
I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, just needed a new keypad. I really like that this keypad beeps when you press each button so you know if you pressed it hard enough or not. My old one just lit up and in direct sunlight it was sometimes hard to tell.Install tip:If you already have an old keypad linked to the garage opener and your new one isn’t linking then make sure to erase the saved openers/pad on your garage door. Once I did that the new keypad installed without any issues and I just had to reinstall our car buttons which was pretty quick.

Works great with my older and newer garage opener
This remote works great and with no wiring. The two channels are convenient and control my older (1990' era) Chamberlin opener as well as my fairly new Chamberlin model too. You do need to read the directions and follow them. Don't miss the various # key entries. This would have taken me less than 2 minutes to program and install, but it did require me to change the 3-position dip switches on my Chamberlin opener to NOT use the center 0 position (switch MUST be either UP or DOWN). This meant reprogramming the other remote units and the car visor but that was easy too. If yours are already set without the center position being used on any of the dip switches, your setup time should be under 2 minutes. Some people had issues getting this unit to work, but I didn't and I would recommend this to others. It's a great price for a descent keypad that has great universal support.

Keypad seems to work OK but, OMG, the programming instructions SUCK!
I was probably jerking around trying to program the keypad for over 6 hours with the included instructions. I have the older Stanley opener with the 10 digital switches. Between the confusing 1111# and the 2222#, then figure out and enter my digiswitch 10 number code, plus #, it was a nightmare. I tried to get help on youtube but could only find the "learn" button videos. After 4 hours of frustration I had contacted Amazon to send the keypad back. The next day I was still determined to beat the little bast*rd so I started again writing everything I needed to do on a piece of paper. I finally got it to work once with the 1111# code, then tried to change code, DOA. Watching the videos I noticed that some keypads needed the code and another number or symbol to work. That led me to try the new code plus the # key and door opened/closed. Seller could have saved me a lot of time putting that little detail at the end of the instructions. It almost cost them a sale!
