My equipment, Sony STR-DN1080 AV Receiver, LG UH950V TV, Apple TV 4k 32gb and Panasonic DMP-UB900 4K Blueray Player. First of all I must say I was already using the highest quality 4k 60Hz HDMI cables that have received rave reviews on here and in the press. The only time I looked into buying a new cable was when I recently bought the Apple TV 4K it was running very unstable on the highest settings which on this device was 4:2:2 at these settings it was unwatchable, on the lower settings it was ok. With me already using the highest quality up to 18gbps cables I assumed I had a faulty Apple TV, I returned this to Argos who promptly replaced it. I must emphasise I did a full check on all my system and reset every device back to defaults to ensure a software update on a piece of equipment had not caused a problem, after doing this the issue was still there. I then thought I would try another 4k 60Hz cable which I ordered off Amazon this was a 1mtr cable extremely well made but a different make to what I was using this also failed. I was then looking on the Apple website and saw they recommended a Belkin lead not taking much notice I did no realise that this was a new type Ultra High Speed cable with a rating of 48Gbps@120Hz I ordered two of these off Amazon, as soon as I got it I plugged it in to my Apple TV and Av receiver and it worked perfectly, even without using the other lead for the output of the receiver, which I have now connected though. For the last 5 days all has been running 100% perfect at the very highest settings, don't tell me why as I do not know. All I can say is the leads don't look fancy they don't even have gold plated ends but they work. I won't go into the picture quality but I think there is an improvement there also even to the stage where I have another one arriving today that I will be using on my Panasonic 4K blueray player. I must emphasise I have no problems with this though with the old cable which was provided by Panasonic. Overall then I have to give the cable a 5 Star + as all of us are aware when we have a problem it can get frustrating and when something comes along that sorts it you can only give praise another thing it as also made me rethink when I look at fancy cables.

The cable feels like (quality wise) CAT6, But its not quite as rigid as Cat6, it feels, sleek compact, and well constructed, it does have a decent amount of flex, And does Not feel like a, (Big cheap China, Mickey mouse, Thick dielectric cable, with really, 4 strands of wire). Short and sweet, Thumb sized, Flexible plug termination, that don`t, Hang out the sockets. Made in china, printed on the packet of course, but it`s clearly NOT a Shiney Shenzhen 5.99 special. It has made very light work, Of replacing my Chunky heavy 120cm DVI cable, Now i can move the Tower from under the desk, and still have some cable slack. No problems paired with my RX-570 @ 1080, No issues with Super resolution eather. Yes buy it, if you wanted a Good Quality, no BS Cable, And dont want to cry, when you open the flex to find its, a rubber dong cable Speshzial. AT a Price, But Very Nice, No tears. I bought 3 of these cables to configure my LG 4K TV, Apple TV 4K, Panasonic 3D UHD DVD player and LG Soundbar (with Dolby Atmos), after reading about possible issues, and other reviewer comments. I am not disappointed! Although I had configured my set up using existing High Speed HDMI cables, 18Gbs, the difference once I changed them for these Belkin Ultra High Speed 48Gbs was noticeably different! To start with, when running the Apple HDMI test, the result was Good, as opposed to OK with previous cables. When using Apple TV 4K, and streaming a 4K video with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos from iTunes, the picture and sound were automatically configured, and the result was amazing! I recommend reading, and following the Apple TV 4K set up instructions, on the Apple Support site, to make sure you configure your Apple TV for the best possible results. Although I think these cables are expensive, they are the only ones I could find with good reviews, and are also "future proof" for 8K, should it ever prove popular with TV and Film Studios. Highly recommend these cables!......Top Quality from Belkin!

I was having an Apple TV 4K issue and was advised "you need a Belkin cable". Nice cable, as cables go, but didn't make a difference. The issue was finally resolved with a TVOS update, not this Belkin cable. I don't know why Apple are shilling for users to buy Belkin cables. This is just a high speed HDMI cable not some mystic 4K TV Apple sauce that does what other cables can't. There are other high speed cables for 4K UHD that perform the same and cost a lot less. Don't let the Apple snakeoil un-geniuses mislead you into thinking otherwise.

I originally bought one of these cables near the end of 2019 as none of my existing cables was able to support the highest image settings from my AppleTV 4K (12 bit colour, 4:2:2, Dolby Vision etc) despite several of them claiming to be a suitable spec and speed for that purpose. In the end I saw this one was the recommended cable from Apple and so went with this and was pleased to see it worked as advertised. I am sure there must be cheaper cables available that will do the job just as well but I decided to order this again recently when I needed an additional cable simply because I know this one will definitely do the job and my bad experiences with cheaper options that claimed to meet the spec.

Credo oramai sia stato detto tutto e ancor più di tutto sul cavo Belkin HDMI 2.1 che, probabilmente molti di noi che scrivono qui, hanno acquistato mossi più dalla curiosità di vedere quanto "miracoloso" fosse o meno che per reale necessità di sostituire un cavo HDMI. Stilare una recensione su un cavo HDMI potrebbe sembrare in effetti banale, un semplice cavo per molti rimane ciò che è e lascia ben poco alle interpretazioni soggettive invece non è propriamente così, specialmente perché ogni periferica, scheda video, schermo LCD, OLED, consolle videoludica, o quant’altro di tale genere fa come sempre storia a sé e potendo avere il giusto hardware su cui “rodarlo” questo cavo della Belkin può in determinati casi fare la differenza. La spedizione, standard, ha impiegato circa una settimana, il cavo era nella sua confezione originale con i sigilli di garanzia perfettamente integri, riposto all'interno della busta di spedizione Amazon imbottita con pluriball. Una volta aperta la confezione originale che è molto ben curata con una plastificazione esterna estesa alle immagini e certificazioni del prodotto, ed estratto il vassoietto in plastica ci si trova davanti ad un cavo sottile e quasi striminzito che al principio può lasciare un po' perplessi. Chi è abituato ad “altri” cavi noterà immediatamente la differenza in quanto è molto diverso dai soliti prodotti di marche concorrenti venduti al doppio o addirittura al triplo del prezzo che hanno una sezione molto più spessa, con coperture isolanti fatte in guaine sleeving e similari che rendono il cavo rigido e poco malleabile. Una volta che si ha in mano il cavo Belkin si nota invece subito l’ottima flessibilità, morbido al tatto, lo strato isolante protettivo con guaina in silicone nero offre una buona protezione ed al contempo una malleabilità eccellente. Non ho potuto fare a meno di apprezzare immediatamente questa caratteristica durante le fasi di montaggio nelle curve e nei vari inserimenti che ho dovuto far percorrere al cavo per raggiungere TV e periferica che non sono in posizione propriamente agevole nel mio caso. Una menzione la meritano anche i connettori, decisamente compatti e di forma regolare quadrata, in plastica lucida con stampigliate sopra le sigle "Belkin-HDMI", non occupano molto spazio e si inseriscono perfettamente anche in quelle tipologie di TV dotate di ingressi verticali in cui lo spazio è sempre parecchio ristretto. L’unica nota negativa, se così si può dire che ho rilevato, è la totale mancanza di una placcatura in simil oro dei connettori ma in questa tipologia di cavo è probabilmente inutile. Il cavo come noto possiede la caratteristica certificata e più apprezzabile di "Ultra High Speed" pertanto è un HDMI 2.1 a tutti gli effetti, la maggior resa è ovviamente apprezzabile con pannelli 4K ancor meglio da sfruttare in combinazione con tecnologie HDR, HDR10, HDR10+ che migliorano ciò che il 4K non riesce a migliorare. Da ricordare inoltre che questo cavo, visto che è conforme allo standard HDMI 2.1, supporta persino la variazione di refresh rate per la modalità gaming (game mode VRR), in altre parole una sincronizzazione tra la GPU, le immagini generate ed il rendering finale, quindi una specie emulazione delle ormai notissime tecnologie G-Sync Nvidia e Freesync AMD. La Belkin garantisce, come ben specificato in bella vista anche sulla scatola originale, il suo cavo per una banda passante di ben 48 Gbps. Con tali valori un cavo di siffatta foggia dovrebbe essere capace di risoluzioni mostruosamente elevate fino a 10K (100-120Hz). Da ricordare inoltre che lo standard HDMI 2.1 e quindi risoluzioni 8K @ 120 fps e superiori attualmente non sono ancora implementate dalla maggior parte dei produttori almeno di schermi televisivi. Il cavo è comunque perfettamente retro-compatibile. In altre parole è un cavo totalmente proiettato al futuro considerando che, ad oggi, pannelli 10k e similari sono ancora abbastanza utopici. Motivo per cui la sua applicabilità è sfruttabile appieno in un futuro abbastanza prossimo. Uno di quei cavi perciò che ci terrà compagnia negli anni a venire. Nell'immediato sto testando il cavo Belkin con una PS4 Pro Chassis B connessa ad un pannello Bravia 65XE9305, ho esteso il test provando il cavo anche con l'altro nostro pannello Bravia KD65ZD9. Che dire allora? Rispetto al cavo Sony HDMI 2.0 in dotazione alla console onestamente le differenze visive con il Belkin HDMI 2.1 sono alquanto marginali ed occorre un occhio ben allenato per coglierle appieno. Tuttavia, dopo molteplici prove in varie condizioni di luce e settaggi cervellotici degli schermi, ho notato su ambedue i pannelli una differenza cromatica molto più accurata e vivida, i colori sembrano assumere toni maggiormente intensi e con migliore fedeltà cromatica. Comunque sia per ciò che mi concerne la caratteristica rilevante è lo “switch” automatico effettuato da entrambe i panelli in 2160p RGB (3840x2160) anche visualizzando semplicemente i menu e sottomenu della consolle senza necessità di forzare da sistema nessuna impostazione grafica e senza il game avviato. Con il cavo in dotazione alla console invece la definizione si impostava in 2160p YUV420 modalità automatica sia per la visualizzazione dei menu che per la sezione game. In conclusione, è innegabile che sia un prodotto di pregevole fattura, la nota dolente del Belkin HDMI 2.0 è sicuramente il prezzo di listino, con quello che costa un solo cavo si possono acquistare circa quattro-cinque "AmazonBasics HDMI" probabilmente funzionanti alla stessa maniera ma bene inteso rinunciando alle caratteristiche tecniche e certificazioni del blasonato Belkin. A mio personalissimo parere è dunque un cavo da acquistare rigorosamente se si è dei puristi dell’immagine ed esclusivamente da utilizzare su determinati hardware sfruttando appunto tecnologie 4K, HDR e compagnia danzante. Il sottoscritto in base alla propria esperienza ed in totale imparzialità ha creato la suddetta recensione con la speranza che possa essere di aiuto alla Community. Grazie per l'interessamento.

J'ai acheté ce câble spécialement pour mon Apple TV 4K. Car après avoir fait de très nombreuses recherches sur Internet, toutes les expériences des nombreux acheteurs étaient positives. Et surtout, ce câble est recommandé sur le site Apple pour leurs Apple TV 4K. Il m'apporte entière satisfaction, je ne peux que le recommander vivement à tous ceux qui désire obtenir une vraie qualité 4K et bénéficier du HDR, ainsi que du Dolby Atmos. Il est vrai que ce câble est un peut cher, mais je vous garantie que vous ne regretterez pas d'avoir dépensé ce prix. Il est nettement préférable d'acheter ce câble, plutôt qu'un câble moins onéreux et de le remplacer ensuite... Gain de temps et d'argent au final.

To all the buyers out there who, like me, were having a hard time believing a single 2.1 legit cable even exists - fear not. This works! Some thoughts below though. My old "2.1" cable was constantly cutting out and giving rainbow artifacts and distortion when on 4K 120HZ and even worse and more frequent when HDR enabled. This Belkin is advertised as 2.1 48gbps but on the box it clearly says UP TO 18gbps, which would indicate it's false. YET 4K 120HZ HDR WORKS FLAWLESSLY! No cutting out. So what the heck is going on? I suspect the box is incorrectly labeled and the cable actually does work, because how else would I get a crisp, clear and consistent 4K HDR 120HZ image otherwise? Doesn't make sense. To my knowledge, HDMI 2.0 and 2.0b do NOT support 120HZ. See images of the box + my actual PC reading for proof. Note that the HDMI table clearly states 2.0B maxes out at 4K 60HZ, yet my PC reading and settings clearly prove I am using 120HZ with HDR. This may just be a case of "quality product, poor labelling" which is a refreshing change vs the alternative. Don't even think TWICE - buy this immediately!

The previous cable I used had a lot of signal drop out issues with the Apple TV 4K device, that I’d newly purchased. And it was frustrating coz in the middle of watching something the screen would suddenly go blank, or when trying to play a video, it would endlessly buffer. Finally I bought this piece of amazing hardware and no more issues. Everything works smoothly, the signal is clear and the picture quality has improved, though not everyone will notice that right away. Buy this if you have a high end streaming device. It’s worth it!
