Best humidifier I've ever used and value for the money.
This is one of the best humidifiers I've ever used. Super quite and really puts out a stream of mist, at least 2 foot long. Runs all night with a full tank of water, set on medium, with water left over. Tank is easy to clean and filters are easy to remove and replace. Well worth the money I paid for it. Although it has settings where you can link it to your cell phone, I find it just as easy to use the digital setting on the front of the tanks bottom front.

i couldn't manage without it
I've had this humidifier for the better part of the year, and i think it's a good product. I have severe dry eye, and the effect of the device is notable..i don't think i could do without it. I'm a little leery of 'smart devices, and all i really needed was a timer, but i've found it useful that i can tell if it's empty, or turn it on or off, from another room, since my husband goes to bed much earlier than i do. the humidity sensor is a little wonky, as other reviews have mentioned. especially after you wash or rinse the base...even if i rinse and dry it carefully, water must get trapped close to the sensor or something and it thinks your room is like, 98% humidity. while i never am sure it's meter is reliable, it's totally functionable on auto mode normally, and does rectify itself after washing, if you just turn it on a non-auto mode (low or high) for a bit. i was worried about the fact that our apartment is super cold in the winter...that the cold humidifier might make the room dank and chilly like a cave, but it doesn't seem to noticeably alter the room temperature. if anything it generally make if feel cozier. I was also worried about the fact that i knew i would be unwilling to buy, transport, and keep jugs of distilled water, living in a 4th floor walk-up apartment with no storage space. but so far, i haven't had any problem using tap water. I live in Pittsburgh, and while the system doesn't spout the hardest city water ever, it can definitely create stubborn scale, and rusty stains. even with the city water, this humidifier is pretty easy to clean. i rinse it when i fill the tank daily, i clean it once a week, and descale it once or twice a month. the filter becomes rather rust-colored immediately, but it kindov rinses out (i change it kinda--every other month i guess), and the bit of scale-scum to wash off pretty easily with vinegar. i haven't really noticed any white film being deposited around the room. i do use a demineralizing filter, i think the instructions say not to (it's just like, charcoal stuff in a little plastic cage, i think...it doesn't escape into the tank or anything, but i think it helps because it seems more scaly when it's time to change the little filter-pellet). probably my biggest complaint about the thing is just that the app layout is annoying. ii'm app-resistant anyway, and it has these dumb banner ads which,, at least on my smaller phone, make it impossible to select the device's options until you take several steps to delete the ad (the useful section of the app is pushed off the bottom of the screen). i think design could be better for the app, but the device itself seems to be well thought-out. anyway, overall i highly recommend this humidifier. it doesn't even take up that much space. Levoit does make a non-smart one that seems very similar, it just has an off-low-high knob i think. but this one can be used without the app too, but one has the option of setting the remote functions, timer and humidistat and stuff. i really notice it in the dryness of my eyes and skin if i leave it off, even for one night, and have come to rely on the thing!

Woohoo keeping cool without an A/C
This is my second LeVoit Humidifier. The first is still humming along. Plus I own two more LeVoit air purifiers. The way it happened is that I actually ordered several other items which sounded good, were cheaper, looked cuter, and then before I kept anything, I realized LeVoit really makes the better product & I have a supply of the only part needed already, so thank goodness before I added water to a cheaper item or opened another box, I realized that I only wanted the LeVoit. These products are acting with my fans like distributed swamp coolers, however, they are easier to clean. They happen to work in this case as these rooms when it gets hot have low humidity and the added moisture with air movement makes the rooms feel more temperate, more comfortable than the actual temperature would be without the humidifiers. Along with a new design of how the fans are arranged, it's a step to see how far into higher temperatures, we can handle without an a/c. This is working great and the temperature is dropping faster at night with both humidifers humming along.

Works Great Overall, Easy to Use
I’ve been using this humidifier for a while now, and overall I’m really happy with it. The top-fill design makes refilling super easy, and the mist output is strong enough to noticeably improve the air quality in my room. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is that the app occasionally disconnects, and the tank could be a bit larger so it doesn’t need refilling as often on higher settings. Still, it’s quiet, effective, and does exactly what I need. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a reliable cool-mist humidifier.

Excellent product.
I have used several other humidifier brands but this one is the best so far. I don't use the app function, but the simple touch controls are all I need. I either leave it on high or shut it off. When empty it shuts off automatically. The unit produces generous and steady moisture without leaving a deposit or puddle on nearby floors as some other brands might do. At highest output it lasts about 8 or 9 hours before a refill is needed. You can aim the moisture stream easily,, but mostly upward rather than horizontally. It is very quiet and easy to refill. The 3 liter size is just the right weight when carrying it from carry from the sink when refilled (remember to also empty out the base with each refilling of the top portion). Be advised that since it is a cool mist humidifier it does slightly cool off the nearby air. While this is welcome in dry overheated environments (or apartments), on the other hand it may feel a bit “cool” abd clammy if your environment is cool and dry to begin with (there are other types of humidifiers for that situation). The unit is best for smaller rooms, not for large or very open areas. Unlike many other brands it is much easier to clean, and cleaning is needed much less frequently (i.e. using a diluted vinegar solution once in a while). The users who :complain: about some of the parts in the bottom impeding thorough cleaning should try other brands to see how good this one is in comparison. I have found that despite using regular NYC tap water, so far there is none of the slime deposit or odor that I have found with other humidifier brands using the very same NYC tap water. Granted that the filter just a small piece of plastic foam-like material, the unit does come witd a small filter already installed (you turn a small white “knob" in the base bottom to acces and re[lace it). A second spare filter comes with the unit -with replacements available at very low price from Amazon. The unit is very sturdy and well made (especially the top water container), and not subject to easy breakage. I like very much that you can easily detach the bottom base from the electric cord without unplugging it That makes it simple to also empty out the base of any accumulated water when refilling the top vessel, and of course in cleaning it when necessary (just wipe with viagar) . If you have small children or pets place it away from where they may tip over the top tank (which just rests on the base and is not attached). The one possible negative I see is that the electric cord is very thin (I don't see a “UL” certification I guess that is rare nowadays). With the two units that I purchased both mildly heat up at top of the relatively large plastic plug (it's about 1inch x 2.5 inches in size). Since both units I purchased do the same, I assume it is not a malfunction of some sort (the unit itself has no parts that heat up). I am very pleased with this product so far and I hope that it continues to work well. It’s worth the investment.

Amazing Quality for a Very Reasonable Price
After having this humidifier for about a week, I think it's safe to say it's made a nice difference in my life. The air quality of my room has improved nicely so my nose/mouth isn't getting dried out during the night now. The technology of this thing is incredible! I can set a schedule for what hours of what days I want it to run on, I can decide how much mist gets released, I can have it auto-set so that if the air starts to get a bit dry it can sense the air quality and add a bit more moisture in the air to help maintain a stable humidity. And it's so nice and quiet, too. It's akin to being around a smoothly running water cooler, where you really don't hear it. My sleep has been much better lately. It's so easy to use, and one of the main things I bought it for was the fact that it's also easy to clean. We have hard water where I live, and I made the mistake of following the instructions for my previous warm mist device when they said, "Oh hard water should be okay!". WRONG. I'm using distilled water this time. It's nice to be able to check the parts of the machine and you can thoroughly clean the chamber beneath the water tank, the float, etc. with warm, soapy water or a little vinegar if you need to let it soak. The instruction manual is nice and thorough in explaining all of this. This humidifier has a small filter you change every month (or however often depending on the water you use) as added protection against impurities and mold/bacteria. Easy enough to replace and very inexpensive to find in packs, to boot. If there was one negative thing, it is the VeSync app is too feature-laden. I know that probably sounds like an odd thing to complain about, but it really lets you customize the environment of your home and has features about fitness and all that, and all I need it for is to maintain my humidifier, so I wish I could have a "stripped down" version of the app to just focus on that. Well, I've rambled enough about this now; if anything changes I'll post an update to my review but suffice it to say, I am VERY happy about this humidifier. Thank you, LEVOIT!

Quiet, Easy to Maintain, and Actually Makes a Difference in Bedroom Air
I’ve been using the LEVOIT Dual 200S in my bedroom, and the difference in overnight dryness has been noticeable. It’s compact enough for a nightstand but still puts out a steady, consistent mist. Setup was straightforward, and the app connection was easier than expected. I like being able to adjust humidity levels and turn the display off without getting out of bed. The controls on the unit itself are also intuitive if you don’t want to use the app. Noise level is very low, on the lower settings it’s barely noticeable, which is important for light sleepers like myself. The tank size is practical for overnight use without constant refilling, and the top fill design makes it easy to clean. One thing to note: like most humidifiers, you’ll want to stay on top of regular cleaning to prevent buildup. Using distilled water helps. I clean mine every 2 days. Overall, it feels well built, modern, and reliable. I’d recommend it for small to medium bedrooms or apartments where you want smart control without a bulky machine.

Works great except for resetting after cleaning.
I love my white smart humidifier. I need to clean it more often than I do, but that is connected to my biggest problem with this machine. Everytime I unplug it to clean it, I have to delete it from the app and add it back to the app and then reset my schedule. I hate that! It has lasted me over 2 years so that's a little surprising from a cheap smart device. I bought a blue one for my Mom that has a regular cord instead of the external power supply. It does not disconnect from the app after unplugging, so I figured that was an upgrade but my new white one still has the power supply. I am going to try it, but if it still disconnects then I will be returning it to try another blue one. I plan on updating this review, but don't get mad if I don't. :)

On y retrouve.
