This chair has no arms and sitting cross-legged is not recommended for safety reasons.

Q: Does anyone have safty issue?

None. Seems very stable. Have used it for more than a month on carpet at a desk.

Q: Can I use chair without wheels?

I would say No. it is made for wheels. If you don’t use the wheels, you will have to put some kind of feet on it. That may be hard to locate. I think there is a similar chair that is footed/without wheels on Amazon.

Q: I can't seem to make the height adjustment lock at a specific height. When I adjust, as soon as I sit, it will lower. Any fixes?

When I move mine up, I don’t have any weight on the seat - it stops where I let the handle go. When I lower it I don’t have all my weight on the seat - I let the handle go and it stops as soon as it is released. I hope this helps
