Well packaged good lube
Been using these for 3 years to provide lubrication for inserting a catheter into my artificial bladder. Mine was removed due to cancer. This is a great product and is priced so I can use a new one every time ai cath myself which lessens the chance of infection.

No Container For The Packets
These are convenient for refilling an IFAK, but mine were shipped loose in their shipping box, which is kind of weird. I just threw them in a plastic bag.

Quality sterile lube for medical insertions.
These packets of sterile water based lube are great to have on hand to apply enough lube for inserting medical tubes, enema nozzles, and catheters. I have used them on the go for intermittent self catheterization. The lube stays slick and also thick enough not to stay where applied. It is sterile to avoid infection and the 3g of gel in each packet is more than enough to lubricate yourself and the medical device.

Very portable. Versatile. Easy open. Easy to use. Easy cleanup. Neutral Smell.
These were boxed with expiration date clearly indicated on the box. Expiration is several years ahead which should provide a good chance of using these before “expiration”.As well, each individual tube is also expiration date stamped. I counted the tubes & the claim of 144 units was exactly what came out of the box. These are fairly typical of water based clean up lubes, with an easy to see & twist at the mark on the seam opening point. The lube has a fresh smell, but nothing like perfume or rubbing alcohol, not offensive but neutral in smell. The lube itself is very slippery but does not stay slippery beyond a point of being a nuisance. When not used, it dries but not to a crusty point, it just remains, again somewhat “neutral” until easily washed off with water. These packets are not so overfilled as to “burst” when you tear them at the open seam. The contents can be pushed out sort of like you’d push out ketchup. The lube can be rejuvenated with a dash of water or your own fluid, or, open another tube & add as needed, it mixes without conflict.Too much, just wipe off, it isn’t sticky or messy. Spots on clothing dry fairly quick & do not leave rings or other types of indicators. If left on your body, it is not obtrusive or still slick or sticky — it just goes inert. These are useful to have around for not only people but our pets. These make inserting a rectal thermometer into a pet quick & easy, with no cleanup particularly necessary (warm them in the palm of your hand before coating the thermometer or probe to make it even easier for the pet). And since they are small & each tube is sealed, no need for a big container or jar that is difficult to keep contained & clean.

Handy and Helpful
I've really become a fan of Ever Ready First Aid products and these handy packets of lubricating jelly are no exception. These arrived perfectly timed as I just had an outpatient surgical procedure about a week ago and was in need of some lubricating jelly to assist in my post-surgical care here at home.I ordered and received this box of 144 packs of 3g packets of lubricating jelly. The box itself was nicely sealed and, of course, each packet is individually sized. As noted, there are 144 packs in each box. The packets are sterile, water soluble, greaseless, unscented, and super easy to open even as someone who has slightly spastic hands. It is advised that you do not refuse the packs. As a paraplegic, I do self-catheterization. I find that these packs work really wonderfully with catheters as I can slip the tip of the catheter inside the opened pack and I'm able to lubricate the catheter without making a mess or getting things on my hands. It's actually pretty awesome. And yes, it's kind of weird to get excited about easily lubricating a catheter. But hey, anything that makes this kind of task easier makes me happy.I catheterize 4-6 times daily most days. So, essentially, this box should last me about a month or so. While tubes of lubricant also work, I like the convenience and cleanliness of these individual-sized packs and they simply make my job much easier. These packs are also ideal for first aid kits or other household health needs. I can also see these as being appropriate for school-based or outpatient clinical settings.I'm definitely a fan of these lubricating jelly packs and will no doubt keep using them.
