I have not used this type of tape previously but find it excellent for covering and protecting cuts etc , i suffer from skin splits near my nails, which quickly become sore and difficult to heal quickly unless protected by dressings . Although this tape is self adhesive, i put a little sticking plaster or micropore tape around it to ensure that it does not slip off while gardening etc , where hands often get damp . Generally its difficult to keep sticking plasters in place for long doing this type of work, this holds very well. I don’t put any dressing pads underneath this bandage as it is soft and absorbent without it . It’s a brilliant dressing for my needs and I will purchase again when required.

Love these soo much! My mother’s knee sometimes hurts and feels loose and this tape was perfect in holding it tight and relieving the pain! They don’t feel itchy after applying like some tapes out there and they are easy to remove and wont pull your hairs off!! They also come with the metal pieces for holding them in place! I mostly wrap these tapes around my fingers during drumming to ease my joint pain. The tape wraps are very comfortable. They are flexible and so they don’t constrain movement much, but they are still protective. I love how breathable these tapes are. The tape sticks on to itself easily but not to the skin, so it doesn’t leave any adhesive residue. My favorite size is the 2” for the purpose I described. The tape slightly shrinks around my finger joints from edges to the center (width-wise) due to motion, so a slightly wider one may be better to try if you will have a lot of motion around your joint (3” roll in my case). I can also use the 3” and 4” rolls around my wrists. I have not yet had a specific use for the 6” roll, but it seems to be good one to use around the elbow or the ankle, or I might just fold it and use as a 2-3” tape. This material is one of the best things I have tried thus far in terms of comfort and effectiveness during drumming. I have no idea how they work as tattoo grip tapes, but the feel of these tapes during my application is fantastic. Because they deform during activities they are generally not reusable. Still, I like them more than many other things I tried.
