It’s been almost a year since we installed these stair tread rugs in our cabin. They were very easy to install because the backing is sticky enough but not too sticky were it damages the wood or is hard to peel off. They are non slip and reduce the noise. After being on the stairs for so long (this is a rental cabin so you can imagine the abuse 😉), it was time to either replace them or try to wash them in a washer. As description indicates, these should be washable. So put them in a washer on a gentle cycle. To my surprise, they came out with no stains and the backing was still sticky! I did not put them in a dryer because they were almost dry. I let them air out overnight and re-installed them in the stairs in the morning without any issues. They look like brand new again! It’s a high quality product and highly recommend it.

Very easy to put down on wooden steps. Sticks good but I put two sided carpet tape under just to be sure. Very nice and well made.

The stair treds work great! We no longer slip down the stairs on accident and my dog goes up and down them without the fear of sliping. The tan color works well and love the texture and fit of the stair tread. This was also easy to install and the sticky part is across the entire backing of the tread so that it doesn't lift. If you need to adjust it, just pull it up and readjust.

Got these for my old dog, wanted something to help her on the stairs but was easy to install and would protect the stairs. These are thin but that is perfect. Easy to install you can easily peel them back and adjust. No flaws, loose fibers and the color was exactly as pictured online They lie perfectly flat and no lifting and look like they will be easy to vaccume l. And they are very affordable!

I got these treads a year ago, on heavily used stairs. Some of the treads got scuffed up, and I decided the replace them.It was very easy, they came up without damaging the wood, and didn’t leave any stickiness- and the new ones easily replaced the old ones - securely and they look great.

These stair treads are effectively preventing slips and falls on our staircase. To apply them, peel off the plastic backing to reveal the adhesive side, which securely attaches to the treads after wiping down the stairs. Press firmly to ensure they stay in place. While there have been slight issues with the corners coming loose, pressing them back down resolves the problem. Measuring 30 inches by 8 inches, they offer extensive coverage on each stair. Old wooden stairs In The new house. My dog kept falling down them because of the slickness. Bought these and instantly fixed the issue. Theres good grip to adhere to the stair and good grip for feet! Would def buy again! Great price

I have written this review after more than a year with the treads on our stairs. After a bad tumble from sliding on the stairs without these treads, we bought them. They are amazing and so easy to apply and reposition months later. Do not hesitate to purchase these treads. They add a level of security on unprotected hardwood steps. We bought the brown to complement our brown hardwood floors. You can't go wrong with these. After one year I repositioned one tread that had every so slightly moved a fraction of an inch at the front where a footstep repeatedly pushed on the tread when going up the step. It was so easy to lift, wipe down the step, and reposition it. There was no sticky residue on the wooden step when I lifted it. I am so pleased with this purchase!!

I was sceptical at first as to whether these carpet strips would actually work or not. Happily, they work really well. We purchased them to help our old dog negotiate some slate stairs that have been varnished and were really slippery for her. The carpet has been down now for over a month and are in daily, constant use by the family and the old dog. They haven't moved at all and our dog doesn't hesitate to use them. They also blend in with the slate colour very nicely. They are of good quality and look like they should last quite a while. We are definitely pleased with our purchase and would recommend them.

I have purchased these stair treads for two of my homes. Excellent product. Can wash and reuse over and over again. I recommend using warm water. They stay on the stairs exceptionally well, even when vacuuming. I highly recommend to anyone who needs their stairs to be safe. Excellent and affordable price also. I bought this primarily for the safety of my elderly father and grandchildren. Easy pull and apply. Suggestion : Do not peel off backing all at once. Peel off half the backing and then apply to the stair then remove the rest of the backing.
