The elements in our electric water heater were extremely corroded and barely working. We couldn't find the correct ones for replacement anywhere except on Amazon. They fit perfect and our water heater works like new

My old one was 4100w this one is 4500w Fit just fine definitely 1" 3/8 thread Not as long as my old one but works just fine

Ordered this based on models it should fit and the threads on these elements would not fit into our unit. Not sure if the threads were messed up or?? Due to the snowstorm we were not able to work on the repair until after the return window closed and cannot get help for a refund.

NOPE! I should not have taken a chance on a 1-review item. I ordered two of these and both failed to thread and seat properly. I finally got one to thread into the fitting, but it developed a small leak, the other could not be installed at all. The original (and corroded) anodes threaded into the water heater without a hitch. I fought these for nearly an hour, trying to get them to seat. I returned for a refund and reordered another from another supplier.

Have bought these last year.Worked great.Time to change elements and Anorod again.
