Excellent first paddle for me!

Perfect for intermediate player.
This paddle is perfect for anyone who plays for fun or competitively. After playing with a beginner, cheap paddle it was time to move into something of higher quality. This hit the spot! I’m enjoying this paddle and know I’ll be using it for years as I grow my game! It’s lightweight and the grip is great for my medium sized women's hands! Love the color too. So fresh!

Provided the control I wanted!!
I was hoping this paddle would provide the control it is advertised to have and it did!! I've been playing Pickleball for 11 months now and I am a former racquetball player. I really needed a paddle that would tamp down the power I developed as a long time racquetball player. Before this paddle, I tried a different brand that was supposed to have high control. It didn't meet my expectations. This SLK EVO Control 2 Max far exceeded my expectations providing the right amount of control I needed. It also has sufficient power to make aggressive passing shots and deep serves. In short this paddle is perfect for me!!!!!!

Uncomfortable in the hand
So I'll give it that it is crazy light-weight. Construction seems solid. The issue I have with it is the grip. You would think that a 50-60 dollar paddle would be a fairly well made product that uses the best material available but no. The wrap is done poorly, so much so that you can actually feel the jagid edges of the actual paddles prodding through the wrap. It's also worse on one side making it feel awkward and different if you switch the side you're holding by 180 degrees. Basically meaning you have to choose a side that you prefer and stick with it. I'd give it one star but it still technically works as a paddle. Super disappointed that my 15 dollar junk paddles that I lend out to friends and family are better.
